Really horrible subject but i need help / advise

Hi littlelady, I dont think you are self absorbed at all. What you are going through must be really worrying and we cant always spend every minute of the day thinking of everybody else.

I hope the biopsy results go well for your dad and am keeping my fingers crossed for you both 😘

It is not a really horrible subject at all in fact it is a subject that all women should be comfortable talking about. Then again I think all women should feel comfortable talking about their bodies when medical issues come up.
My battle with Breast Cancer did not start with a lump but blood seeping from my right nipple. I had two breast surgeries, and I have a biopsy coming up again soon. I am not a fan of the standard mammogram, do not let them force you in to that test they can learn more with a ultrasound.

Your on the right track, ask your doctor, read up as much as you possibly can, and try hard not to worry.
Be sure that you have real people in real life to support you. This is an important matter and folks online never really understand or know how to help or how to care. Real hugs and real support will be your best bet.

Aww hunni - im sorry you have found it but glad you have early so if it something it can be sorted soon.
You do have to see your doctor tho, you must get it properly seen to and should treatment be needed it be done.
The sooner the better for things like this, im keepin mi fingers crossed 4 u hun xx

Hi everyone, im so sorry iv not been on for a while.
I didnt go to the docs, i was too stressed to face anything, sadly this month there is no baby, upset me alot but im ok now!

My stepdad got his biopsy results today, he got the all clear 😀 so im happy there!

my lump has turned into a flat dry patch so im leaving it til my next doc appointment, which is soon i think, i have monthly appointments because of my disability.

I just wanted to thank you all so much, your ace, i dont know where i would have turned without this website.

my auntie had had breat cancer twice and still lives to tell the tale, she now does all kinds of charity work for it.
i remember the 1st time i felt a lump in my breast, i was 21 years old and in the shower, i cried my eyes out thinking the worst, i went to the docs to find it was a gland.....thank u god!! really hunnie, go get it checked to put u'r mind at rest. my fingers are crossed for u!!!! xxxx

I've got an appointment in a couple of weeks with a breast surgeon to find out what my lump is. I think they are going to do ultra-sound. I'm taking my husband with me for support but he'll probably be the anxious one

Best of luck at your doctors apointment.
Be sure to ask lots of questions and to request a second opnion if you feel the smallest bit unsure of the news you get or the reasons they give for it.
