JustParents brings together parenting information, practical tools and a community of parents and parents-to-be. You can:

• Explore baby names, save favourites to a shortlist and collaborate with your partner.
• Read and join discussions in the forums, or ask a question in Parenting Q&A.
• Read and write Parenting Journals about your parenting journey.
• Explore pregnancy week by week and use our pregnancy and ovulation calculators.
• Save useful content, connect with other members and personalise your experience.

You can browse public articles, baby names, discussions and journals without signing in. You can also start a baby names shortlist and save supported content on your current browser before joining.

An account lets you keep your shortlist across devices, share it, collaborate with a partner, post in the community, write a journal and save content for later. Some member areas and content are only available when you are signed in.

Create an account or log in.

Add a little about yourself in your account settings, then visit the forums to find a conversation or introduce yourself. If you are choosing a name, start with baby names. Your For You page is another place to explore content relevant to you.

Browse or search our baby names section to explore names, their meanings and origins. You can also browse name collections for inspiration.

Use the shortlist control beside a name to save it. Open your baby names shortlist to review your choices and remove names you no longer want.

Yes. Your guest shortlist is linked to your current browser using a cookie. Use the same browser when you return; clearing cookies or using a different device can mean you cannot access that guest shortlist.

Create an account or sign in from the browser where you saved your names to keep them with your account and access them across devices.

You both need a JustParents account.

1. Sign in and open your baby names shortlist.
2. In Invite your partner, enter their JustParents username and send a collaboration invite.
3. Your partner accepts the invite using their own account.
4. Open the collaboration to review names from both shortlists and rate them Love, Unsure or Dislike. You can see each other's ratings and where you agree.

You can have one active or pending collaboration at a time.

Sharing lets someone view your saved names using your shortlist link. When signed in, find Share your shortlist on your shortlist page, then copy or share the link. Anyone who has the link can view it, so only send it to people you trust.

Collaborating connects your account with your partner's account so you can compare names and ratings together. Sending a view-only link does not create a collaboration.

Check that you are both registered and that you entered their JustParents username, rather than their email address. If either of you already has an active or pending collaboration, you cannot start another. Check your collaboration for its current status. If you are still stuck, contact us.

Open your collaboration, choose End collaboration and review the confirmation before continuing. Ending a collaboration deletes your shared votes; if you collaborate again later, you will start rating afresh.

You can log in with your username or email address. If you have forgotten your password, request a password reset.

If you cannot remember your account details or no longer have access to your email address, contact us for help. Please never send us your password.

Allow a little time, then check your spam or junk folder. Check that you used the email address associated with your account. If you still cannot find the email, contact us with the email address you used to register.

Sign in and open your account settings to update your account details and profile. Use the profile picture editor to upload and crop a photo; this works on mobile too.

Your account settings include visibility controls alongside profile and family details. Review those controls before adding information you only want to share with a particular audience. Visibility can differ between fields.

We do not usually change usernames once an account has been created. If you have an important reason for a change, please contact us and we will see if we can help.

Please contact us if you would like your account closed. The team can help with your request and explain what happens to your profile and contributions. You can also read our terms and privacy policy.

Sign in, open the forums and choose the forum that best fits your topic. Select New discussion to start a conversation, or open an existing discussion to reply.

For a specific question, visit Parenting Q&A. Community replies reflect members' experiences and are not a substitute for professional advice.

Sign in with the account that wrote the post and look for the edit control on your own post. If the control is unavailable or you need help removing something sensitive, contact us with a link to the post.

If an abbreviation is unclear, it is fine to ask the person who used it.

Sign in and visit Parenting Journals to start your own journal. You can use it to write about pregnancy, family life and your experiences as a parent. You can also browse other parents' journals there.

Signed-in members can use direct messages to have conversations away from public discussions. Whether you can contact a particular member depends on their messaging permissions and any blocks.

Use the report control where it is available, or contact us with a link to the content and a brief explanation. Avoid reposting private information in a public discussion.

Try the due date calculator, ovulation calculator or pregnancy week-by-week guide. Members can also use the cycle tracker to record periods and test results.

Calculator results are estimates to help you explore dates, rather than medical advice.

Use the save or bookmark control on supported articles, forum topics and questions. Guest saves are linked to your browser; sign in or create an account in that browser to keep them with your account. When signed in, find them in Saved content. Baby names have their own separate shortlist.

Sign in and open the notifications section of your account settings to review your email preferences. You can also use an unsubscribe link in an email, where provided, to stop that type of message.

Use the browser push notification setting in your account settings. You may also need to allow notifications in your browser or device settings. Notification permission applies to the device and browser you are using.

On iPhone and iPad, add JustParents to your Home Screen before enabling push notifications.

Open your notifications while signed in to see your recent updates.

Refresh the page and check that your browser is up to date. Some features need cookies and JavaScript. If an extension seems to be interfering, try pausing it for JustParents.

Avoid clearing cookies if you have a guest baby names shortlist you want to keep; sign in or create an account from that browser first.

If the problem continues, contact us with the page address, what you were trying to do, any error message, and your browser or device. Do not include passwords or private sign-in links.
