About JustParents
JustParents is a community website for parents and parents-to-be to swap advice, get support in the wonderful journey of parenthood and make new friends.
Our aim is to be the friendliest, easiest to use independent website for parents in the UK and worldwide.
JustParents was born in January 2007, out of a desire to create a genuinely friendly community for parents. We know how difficult it can be for new parents to get honest, unbiased advice on raising their children.. not to mention the ability to get out of the house and make new friends with a baby in tow!
The site has grown and developed rapidly over the years, but we still believe strongly in our founding principles:
- Parents deserve a place to share advice and make friends in a friendly atmosphere. Personal attacks, deception and outright bitchiness should not be tolerated.
- Strong site privacy features and a friendly moderator team ensure that members can feel safe sharing their experiences
- A community website should be easy to use, so that nobody looking for advice is put off by confusing navigation or complicated rules
- That staying an independent, non-corporate community means that advice and articles are trustworthy
