What I liked most
The Silver Cross Reef 2 is a very reassuring everyday travel system for parents who want something sturdy without feeling overly complicated. The carrycot is suitable from birth and approved for overnight sleeping, which makes it useful for early naps away from home. The seat can parent-face or world-face, the one-hand fold is practical, and the large wheels with four-wheel suspension make it feel capable on pavements, parks and bumpier family walks.
What could be better
It is still a substantial pram rather than a tiny city stroller, so parents with tight storage or a very small boot should try the fold in person. It also sits in the premium end of the market, and the best value depends on whether the bundle includes the accessories, carrycot, car seat adaptors and infant carrier you actually need.
