Really horrible subject but i need help / advise

im sorry for doing this, i really am but has anyone here has breast cancer? or anyone close to you?
i found a lump about 2 weeks ago, thought it might be a flea bite, did the dog and monkeys but its still there, my boob really hurts, its very tender. i googled it and the lump is the same as them on google. im so scared, i dont want to leave my babies. please can someone talk to me, my hubby is ignoring it and more concerned with his drill being stolen out the car. 🙁

Oh hun, phone the Drs right now and get seen today. Hopefully it's nothing serious but it will put your mind at rest if nothing else. I had a lump come up in my groin a few years back and went straight to see the Drs. They said to wait and see if it went down in a few days and if not they'd investigate further. Luckily it did so that was that and fingers crossed you'll be lucky to.. 😘

That's so strange I've just found a lump too,it's in my right boob and I can feel it if I sit or lay in certain positions. I was going to go to the doctor this week but one of my kids has chicken pox so I'm stuck in. Part of me thinks it's a swollen gland or something but the other part of me is scared. My husband and friend have said go to the doctor now but it's a big can of worms to open. I'm 25 and no one in my family has had cancer,but my friend lost her mum to cancer last august which I think is why I'm more scared coz I've seen what it does

Hey hon 😘 yes my mum had breast cancer nearly 6 years ago.......very scary for us all. Go to the Dr and get yourself checked, it might be nothing. My aunt (mums sister) has had lots of little lumps, cysts i think they were, and she was terrified that it was cancer and turned out to be nothing. A lump doesn't always mean cancer so go get checked.....its natural to be scared, and as for your man, well men don't usually deal with stuff till it need dealing with, im sure if there is something wrong he will be right there with you hon......let us know how you get on, 😘 😘

i phoned the dr, they wont see me until the 10th, there are more important patients to see 😐
it runs in my family, kills everyone off at a early age, it skipped my mum though
my great gran died at 19, my gran died when she was 26,
i cant remember the others.

iknow someone who had a lump that was sore and her boob was tender and she was referred to the hospital but the minute she mentioned pain to the consultant he said pain is good and she had a cyst. go get it checked out though and just tell them you cant wait til the 10th- or go to the nurse

hey hun i found a lump and it turned out to be a cyst.
contact your doc stright away and then if it is anything to worry about at least you would have caught it in the early stages 😘

My mum had breast cancer two years ago - she is ultra paranoid about things like that as she a different form of cancern 5 years ago, so is always checking for lumps.

Get yourself to the GP - most lumps turn out to be cysts, so try to relax until you have your appointment.

hey everyone, my DR is poo, cant get an appointment and have to wait til tomorrow for an emergancy one.
just wanted to tell you all, its still there but its gone dry, like i have a old spot or a small burn or something? 🤔 my boobs have grown too, not sure if i have had a grow spurt this week (im only 19) or maybe (i hope) im pregnant? been throwing up the last few days too and my face is extra spotty (i never get spots) so hopefully its a spot on my boob lol

i have never been so confused, its driving me cookoo.

my chap just said im probably spotty because of my nerves, im giving up smoking with 2 toddlers, my hubby and this lump hanging around my neck... well atleast he has some input... iv just upset him now lol 😐

Hope you get on ok at your appointment 'little lady'. I went to my doctor today about my lump and I've been referred to the hospital for ultra-sound and whatever else they need to do. But she said she doesn't think it's going to be cancer as the lump moves slightly and cancer lumps are normally attached and stay still so fingers crossed it wont be too serious

Hey there little lady,please stay optomistic, we are all here for you,I am always checking myself and as of yet im clear(thank the lord)I cant imagine how you must be feeling, and as for your chap, it may seem like he doesnt care but men are a bit like that we are stronger at facing our problems and the truth than they are, he probably is just not quite ready to face it but lets just hope neither of you are gonna have to face it, all our love from us over here to you over there.take care and keep us posted. 😘 😘

It's always best to get these things checked. I spent 8 months too frightened to go the GPs because of the little lumps in my breasts. My partner's mum is in the middle of chemo at the moment and I didn't want anyone to get wind of what was worrying me. Anyway I got a chest infection from this blooming cold that's going round so I asked the Doc to have a look whilst I was there. It turned out it was grizzly bits left over after breastfeeding - until the milk producing glands sort themselves out again (bearing in mind it's 8 months since I stopped bfing). They are very tender and occasionally are painful. It's always best to get checked out but at the same time don't worry until you have to.

Did you get to the drs?? How did you get on?? It does sound like you could be pg with the symptoms you have described but really hope that you are getting your lump checked out. You should never leave anything like that to chance (speaks the words of wisdom of a 37 year old 😀 )

🙂 hi. You must be really nervous but it kinda needs to get checked by a doc.
I see your baby is not that old.... it might be a blocked milk duct... in which case I found feeding my baby more often... rather painful... but it did clear.

But if you are anxious check it out with health visitor or doc yeah

hello everyone,
just letting you all know, got docs on tuesday (useless people) the lump has gone flat but still very visible, iv put on weight and my boobs are huge (hooraaahhhh 😀 )

Julia, i would see my health visitor, but i 'sacked' them, i didnt like the way the patronised me and stuff ( i look like im only 12, im very small for my age lol, people treat me like a child, a old lady actually pincked my cheeks in sainsburys!)

im not so nervous now iv found you guys, your all so ace 😀

i feel horrible now, i was supposed to tell you, my step dad has his biopsy results on friday (13th) they are pretty certain he has cancer of the jaw, i have to go with him for the results.
im scared for him, he has been my 3rd parent for 15 years.
my mum is scared, she said she doesnt want to loose 2 loved ones, im sure we will both me fine though.

i felt self absorbed forgetting my paps then 🙁
