Totally agree with Rob there, I am really happy that Barack Obama won- it's what America and the world needs. He seems like the perfect guy for the job, I want to see David Cameron get in over here now. 😀

I'm really pleased for you Tammy (and all Americans, ofcourse!) I know how much you were hoping he would win. I really feel the best man one, i just hope he really is as genuine as he comes across and genuinely has the best interests of your country at heart. As has already been said i don't think he can do a worse job than Bush! What a fantastic moment that will go down in history, and we were all here to see it 😀 I have to say, McCain seemed very gracious in defeat though! Xx

I agree as well, I think he conceded graciously, unfortunately alot of his followers were not so gracious 🙁

Oh it's been interesting since the election too, to say the least. This has brought out the good, the bad and the ugly!! I've realized through different means, reading what people think about Obama being elected, that there is still so much ignorance to over come... ignorance and intolerance 🙁

But I'm still happy that Obama was elected, now he just has to prove himself which is going to be a tough job with extra high expectations, anything that goes wrong now will be blamed on him and the democrates no matter what 😉 .

I completely agree Tammy - i've found the lead up very interesting at times! I'm so pleased you got the president you wanted.

However i did laugh when he told his children that he did love them and that they COULD have that puppy now! 😉 Like he would never be able to give them one of he were not elected.... 😜
