Where do we all live??

I live in Sunny Scotland, about 18 miles from Glasgow. The actual town I live in isn't famous for anything apart from Dougie Vipond (Deacon Blue drummer).

Famous people who went to the ame school as me although at different times:

John Smeaton
Dougie Vipond
Douglas Alexander - Tony Blairs buddy
Wendy Alexander - Sister of Douglas and famous for having to resign as Labour Leader in Scotland after illegal donations to her campaign.

Apart from the we have one very well known bridge over the River Clyde and John Smeaton (the infamous Smeato!) lives about 10mins walk away...so we're well protected if any terrorists decide to try ad blow us up!!!

I live in North Lincolnshire - just outside of Sunny Scunthorpe - not famous for anything as far as i know... 🤔

we live in north east england, town called shildon.

its only claim to fame being timothy hackworth who did something with the railways.

were close to bishop auckland which is the home of stanley jefferson(stan laurel of laurel and hardy)

but the north east is prob mainly known for newcastle.

I'm from Leeds...I think Leeds was supposed to be famous for clock making long ago, but now more for Harvey Nichols 😉 and the Victoria Quarter for the shopping.

I originally come from Pudsey, which is where Pudsey Bear is named after 😀 We now live in Bramley which is the town next to it and the part where we are from was once a prosperous rhubarb farming area lol!! What a load of useless info is that!!

I live in Andover, on the border between Hampshire and Wiltshire. The only good thing about Andover is the road out of it.

That said apparently a small cinema opened here, but I don't know where it is.

I live in Adelaide South Australia.Adelaide is well known for its wine regions(wolfblass lol),gourmet food and beautiful beaches.
Andy Thomas is also from Adelaide.

I live in Wigan which is in the north west of england. George formby was born here and george orwell. There is a pub and restaurant by Wigan pier called The Orwell. Wigan is also said to be pie capital of the north west, lol!

I live in the UK, in Woking, Surrey. We have the McLaren F1 team and HQ just down the road. Also famous as Woking is where the group The Jam came from (Paul Weller et al) and Horsell Common, which is just on the outskirts of Woking, is where the first cylinder landed in War of the Worlds - we have a tripod in Woking town centre too!

We are from Southampton (not far from Owen) it is a boring place for us but tourists love the old history, as it has the old walls and a titantic museam. Was the biggest dock yard a fair few years ago

i live in london near the wembley stadium. ive been in there a few times for different things and ive been EVERYWHERE

englands dressing rooms, shower room, pitch side, the boxes

ive seen soccer aid with all the celebs playing, foo fighters (even they said it was the best concert ever and they would still be talking about it in 20 years time)and of course ive been to a few footie games to cheer on england

i live in "sunny" fleetwood with my hubby, its a few mile from blackpool.. away from all things modern

no idea what its famous for, apart from having more trams than buses and nowhere to shop lol

Norfolk's also got a reputation as a bit of a backwards county, with country bumpkin accents, incest and eccentric habits. That's not really so true of the urban areas like Norwich, and I'm not originally from Norfolk so wouldn't fit the stereotype anyway! I do like the phrase 'Normal for Norfolk' though 🙂

We live in Chesterfield which is a small town next door to Sheffield. We have a famous Church, the Crooked Spire, anyone heard of it?? 😕
