Update bout our council situation

update here, we have now been told to wait another year

Well, Rich rang the council yesterday to complain about this again and when they finally started to listen, we had someone out within an hour to secure and replace the plug socket that was hanging off the wall (low to floor) rich could fit his fingers behind it. Also they said they will send someone out on 11th may to look at metal gruders showing through the wall behind the taps. We were partly happy with this as both things need doing.
Today our neighbourhood warden knocked the door to see if we had any issues with the area or our property, i just laughed and said come in and look at our kitchen, she walked back out and sent the housing officer in, he looked through the kitchen doorway and said "o a non standard kitchen, a mess" then told the warden to take photos. When we told him the council had told us to wait another year, his reply was "they are taking the piss and i will personally get on their backs bout it" he took my email address and is including me on the contact that gets made, that was 9.30am today, i had already recieved email by 2pm and he is now waiting on a date as to when the work will be completed by.

Sounds like something is REALLY happening now 😀

About time to, they said the only thing that could hold it up is because it was an exchange

Thought i would make another update on here for those who haven't seen my facebook status this morning, i have just rang decent homes project and said, we were told the parts were being ordered few weeks ago and hadn't heard from them since and asked for an update... to be told... its all in stock and the next avalible start date is 26th August, well happy 16 days and counting 😀 😀 😀 😀
