cebebies

hurra for the ninky nonk n pinkie ponk! in the night garden is the 1 thing at the moment, at bed time hour that works! ne1 else kids watch it? is better than tellytubbies. these wee caracters talk, sing n dance :d hehe even i sit n watch it! im kidding,

personally i really dont like it. its in the same area as teletubbies, and i dont see any value to it other than gluing them to the screen. doesnt seem to teach them a lot. and i dont like all the daft words.

ok, shoot me down in flames hehe 🙂
the theory in it is suppose to be that they talk fairly similar to ur baby. it glues gaz to the screen for all of the 10 mins its on and gives me that sapre time to get his bath run and ready for bed time, sumtimes i even manage to get some dishes done

Each to their own of course, and yeah I'm all for the gluing to the screen so you can get stuff done, I just prefer different programmes.

It is just that since it started, my usually wellspoken almost 4 year old has started rehashing words and talking like a baby again. It very deliberate and sounds spookily like the way they speak on night garden! lol

everyone has their own opinion, but i personally dont like all these kids things like yelly tubbies etc coz they speak funny and then we wonder why so many kids dont learn to talk properly, what happened to good ole thomas and postman pat where kids can still enjoy and the voices speak properly? whats all this telly tubby talk i hear all to often from little kids in the street?
i'm sure they didnt talk like that in kids programmes when i was a kid...

the night garden is the only 1 i let him watch, but i find the me too is good, its amazing how many new words he has, and big cook little cook, he has more than a few of their words to teir wee theme song, its scary, the best 1 by far is something special, they teach sign language, and as im partially deaf my self i find this very helpfull in teachin my son the basics

like i said everyone has their own opinions.
i see no problem if they speak properly in the kids programmes unlike in the telly tubies and many other kids programmes.
nobody is having a go at u hun, hes u'r son and u'r ding a great job, people just have diffrent views on some kids programmes 😀

i never though u was lol 😀 im more than happy to take on others opinions on board!

thatsok then, dont want to upset anyone.
i'm sure hes a beautiful, clever little chap with a great mummy 😀

i try to be, but bein a young mum i always think i can do or be better for him. u aint upset me cookie, i can take it on the chin well hehe, i do appreciate straight talkin and honest opinions.

"Floba doba dob? Floba dobba dob!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed?"

Before my time (Just!) - But there have been childrens programs with nonsense speak for at least the last 50 years, and what about all the grannies who insist on talking to children they meet in nonsense?

Not a fan of Tellytubbies and my son watching it (because I think it's crap) and never seen the night garden - but I don't really think that a 10 minute TV program will hurt kids learning that much. Too much TV in general on the other hand......

ha ur wee picture bill n bob the flower pot men, i watched that as a kid too! my son enjoys it also :d

my 2 youngest love it. theyre glued to the tv when its on

Sorry Im not the biggest fan of teletubbies or night garden, they drive me mad,but as for somthing special, well now you are talking, I work in learning disabilities and this program has enabled Josh to communicate with the people I work with, with no inabitions or prejudice and certainly no fear,I actually think that Justin is one of the best childrens television presenters i have ever seen.Josh watches the tv like glue when ever he is on,it is funny he doesnt pay that much attention to tikkabilla unless it is Justin and he is laughing singing and dancing along every time.

justin and sarah jane are the 2 who keep garry in a trance, i think the have it down to a fine art. im all for teachin children without a disability how to communicate with those who have. i always bring mines up to treat others as u wish to be treated, and never ever judge another playmate. so far its working

i agree something special and tikkabilla are fantastic , im not a big fan of night garden or tellitubbies either. my little ones just love justin in mr tumble.

also myn love boogie beebies and my 18 month old loves to boogie as well to boogie beebies.

also on tikkabilla they love the higgley house.

those i would say are my three youngest favourites on cbeebies.

nick junior they love wonderpets and the backyardigans and doras cousin dieago. and wow wow wupsey.

see you from kerry...

Hey my daughter loves in the night garden, i do think its a little strange but Mia will sit and watch it and laughs all the way through.

I also think that it has helped her with her language, she also love teletubbies, loves lala to bits.

She does watch the other programmes on cebeebies some of her favouries are boogie beebies as she loves to dance, numberjacks, that has helped her learn to count to ten! 😀 😀

jo xxx

😀 Yes hurray for "in the night garden" as my boys love it and its on just after their bath so they sit drinking their milk and our eldest who is 2 turns the tv off when its done and announces its bedtime!

thats good! so does garry, since he watched the number jacks he is tryin hard to count too, i find them really helpfull in teachin them new things. he get homework from the nursery and theres been a few times cebeebies have really helped me out 🙂

my son aaron loves in the night garden. xx
