Hmmmn - more popular on here than i thought it would be!

Mark is super pleased that peeps on here agree with him! I must say i do love it - i think i was just a little concerned people would deem it a little "Sissy"!? Even my parents text last night and said they like Gabe for short, if we chose Gabriel (hadn;t really mentioned it to them this time around) - but my mum said she loves it 😲 Complete shock.

And as dp keeps pointing out - who cares what anyone else thinks, he'll be our son and we love the name.

Now just gotta think of a middle name if not Harvey

Henry is after dp's grandad - and i love the name Henry, so i'm sold!

My mum and dad love Gabriel (Gabe for short) but i've had a torrent of messages from my sisters this morning saying nooooooooooooooo, and that they hate it.

Can't have Harry Lou, my auntie (mums sister - my age) has just called her baby that! 😢 😢 I loved it - but now i realise how popular it is i am glad.

I have also scribbled off many other names thanks to finding out other people we know have used or are using them. This is dp's ''favourite'' name and always has been, i've grown to love it. So i think it'll stay!

I never mentioned it here tbh - just because i had blanked it out! I listened to too many people last time around with dd and totally vetoed it.

I mentioned it to Mark a few months back and he said 'it wasn't good enough for you last time if Georgie was a boy and i don't want it now'.

I mentioned it to him the other day again and he just burst out in a huge smile and said he'd be really happy if i did like it. I've fallen in love with it secretly, so told him i was just worried that people said it was a sissy, girlie name for boy and he'd be bullied tremendously etc.

Not like me at all as i am a very strong minded and independant, stubborn person i usually take no notice of what others think. Then again i was only 21 when i had dd so maybe took peoples opinions back then a little too heart!

It is definately staying now 😀 Totally and 100% sure. I love many aspects of it. That it is rather traditional and not too popular, no-one else i know would even consider it. PERFECT!!!

And i think Georgia-Mae and Gabriel sound lovely together 😍
