RBS six nations!!!!
😀 I know what I will be doing this weekend 😀
Scotland -v- Wales on Sunday at 3pm. (there are still tickets left and I am so tempted to get my parents to babysit and go to Edinburgh for the weekend 😀 )
England -v- Italy on Saturday at 3pm
Ireland v- France Saturday at 5pm
Scotland will probably win! After we got the Grand Slam 4 years ago, the following year the team were to full of themselves to keep it up and fell at the 1st hurdle if I can recall?!!
Not that I want my home team to lose but I can see it happening all over again!

No, we will beat the Scottish wimps into Submission!! Well maybe not. I'm hoping that the games in November got them prepared better and put them in their place.
Scottish team are bruisers, like Ireland, so it will be a tough match. Wish Scotland was a bit closer as it is possibly the only game that I would be able to get tickets for. Might just have to walk into Cardiff next weekend and see if I can get a ticket for the England game off a tout.
Hope you get tickets for the England match! They were doing a "guess the score" thing on Real Radio earlier and they were all like Wales 20something and Scotland 12 or 15. We'll see! 🙁
By the way, well done with your bike ride for August- I will donate on there as soon as I can get a decent amount for you.
My other half did the London marathon 2 years ago in memory of his dad, who died of a heart attack 4 years ago. He raised over £1500 for British Heart Foundation. I want to run it in a few years too, I did the half marathon in Silverstone (not long 'til F1 starts up either, YAY!) last year. I want to raise money for Cancer Research or something related to it like CLIC or Marie Curie as will be running for my uncle who although he had prostate cancer and was 'ok' at the time- he broke his leg, went into hospital and caught CDiff which took him from us last January.

Quote:However I am not sure if I should take the comment about the Scottish team being bruisers as an insult or a compliment 😜
Well maybe not
Hope you get a ticket for the England game, although I would hate to think how much a tout would charge, you maybe would be cheaper going to Edinburgh for the weekend!lol.
Good Luck to both teams on Saturday, it should be a good game. 😀
If only the flights were that cheap!!! It would cost around £300-£400 to fly up plus a hotel plus ticket. Should be able to get a ticket from the tout for around £50-£60 on the day for the England game.
How fab - a complete Rugby weekend in this household!!! 😀 😀 😀
Don't care for football at here in this house- but RUGBY you betcha! 😀 😀

Alex said:Saw the England game, and Italy played much better than England even though they lost. Only saw a little of the Irish game before taking the kids out for some food. Well done Ireland! I sense some danger there.

The mighty Welsh triumph over Scotland. 😀 Smug mode on!!! Watched it at the gym, then went and did a circuits session. Not sure how I'm still alive!!!
They were interviewing some of the attending fans after the match and they are well miffed with Stephen Jones- "he cost us 15 points!!", so what? We still won! Shame Shane Williams is out of England match though... 🙁
