I've spent the day stripping

......... the wallpaper in my lounge (well the afternoon anyway). 2 walls down and two to go. Finish the stripping tomorrow and then it'll be ready for lining paper and then paint. Haven't chosen a colour yet!
Was thinking of a light yellow, but I'm now thinking I'll just magnolia it then its easier for somebody to paint over if they want to at a later stage after I have moved.

Well done though, I love stripping wallpaper, there is something theraputic about it. I need to do Joseph's room but it will need re- papered and that I think I am not very good at!! Will have to find someone to help (maybe a girls night in!!!)

You must be a very practical person thinking in advance like that owen. Are you planning on moving soon? If not, i would just go for what you like hun. Don't think what's easy for others. Anyway i'm sure light yellow wouldn't be too hard for someone to cover? I think a bit of colour in your home helps helps keep things cheery! 😀 Xx

Planning to move in the new year. House prices aren't great and I'm not sure how that will affect my equity, but frankly I plan on up sizing so any bigger (more expensive) houses will have come down more in price than mine.

Move back to Cardiff and find myself a nice Welsh girl to settle down with.

Well if there is Scot or Irish girl in Cardiff then I wouldn't say no, but most of the girls I meet in Cardiff are Welsh (except for the students, but they're too young/drunk).

A teacher has to have a life!!! Even though the children think I sleep in the school I dont really!!!
