What do we all do for a living?

I hate the queues at Stanstead and would prefer to travel further to a different airport to avoid them, however Stanstead is the furthest of my usual airports. I normally fly from Gatwick or Heathrow. The T5 BA business lounge is really nice!!! Don't usually get a business class ticket to let me in there though.ellee1984 said:I have never flown with them so I cant really comment either.
LOL something like that hehe i shouldnt really comment.. good ol' squeezy
(I love wathcing the TV show and I laugh at the stupid customers and their expectations!! )
My job!!! Well I wear many hats in my current position. I go by two titles of Solutions Consultant or European Sales Engineer. I specify technical solutions for a large worldwide software company. I put together solutions for the sales team or our resellers to sell. The European part does mean travelling usually within the UK but recently to Prague, Naples, Madrid and Brussels. In the past I have travelled to a lot of other places as well. Sounds nice when you put it this way, but normally I see airport, hotel, taxi and an office block or server room. Very rarely do I get any time to look around.
id love to travel around like that but i guess it must get quite lonely at times.
the best i got working with squeezy was going to newcastle to help cover short staffness up there (got cancelled last minute though 🙁 )

I worked as an IT Sales Manager most recently but have been involved in technical support/sales for years with some very well known organisations. I also worked as a Product Manager in the micro-controller business and travelled the world with my job (and wrecked a marriage in the process sadly 🙁 ).
I have also curve balled into recruitment which is the business I intend to start for myself in January 09. I've decided I want a lot more time at home with my family 🙂
I used to be very driven by money but my priorities have certainly changed now 😀
😠 i have been sacked because i had a week off sick !apparently i didnt commit to my hours, that takes the mickey considering i was supposed to do 16 hours and i was doing 25 + a week 😠 ne
I'm a solicitor, and also run a space-themed kids internet shop with my dh. Odd mix I know, but good fun!
I am currently a part time tutor. I work at this private tutor center in the neighborhood. To be honest, I feel as though I am a social worker because a lot of parents ask me for advice. I try my best to help them out. Giving them advice as simple as a child's eating habits, to socializing a child. Plus, helping my sister raise her daughter. Unfortunately, I will be returning to Australia for Teacher's college in January. I will miss working but I know eventually I'll be back teaching.
I work in a 4* Deluxe hotel as a Reception and Duty Manager, and i'm also Mananging Director of our company which is an Industrial Cleaning company - again odd mix 🤔 #
Early next year i will be on Maternity Leave from the Hotel and hope that i can start to run the business full time - so dp can spend more time on the road and i can do ALL the paperwork, invoice chasing blahdy blah etc etc (as at the moment i do the majority) but if i were at home he could be out alot more than he is at the moment!
i dont work or anything yet, am hoping to go to college in sep 09 to do digital photography
enjoying living the lazy life at the mo tho 😀
