time is just going by so fast and so much to do in so little time, i'm so excited

i want to put my tree up hehe............lee wont let me.

i cant wait for xmas, need to get tree and decs yet still.. and cards.. and pressies.. 😉

It has been suggested to me that I would be better getting Joseph a game boy advanced instead of the DS (apparently you can play GBA games in the DS 😕 if I was to get hima DS at a later stage) Only problem is that I cant find any where that sells the GBA. Amazon have used ones but not new unless it is the GBS SP.

Have you tried ebay or Game? Game accept trade ins so maybe they have some???

I tried amazon new and used but they all sounded very used!

Game station have a new platinum 1 but there is no picture and game have a pink one (not sure Joseph would go for Pink!!!)

im all done for xmas hehe have been for the past catalogues are great. gonna put tree and decs up on charlys birthday again 26th nov but prezzies arent going under to xmas eve.

Ok so doing well on my Christmas shopping and its costing a fortune as usual 😉

I've got all but a few and need some wrapping paper now!

I only have 1 present (and my dip for School) to buy and I am finished all my shopping 😀 I managed to get some stocking fillers for Joseph today in tesco (wasnt easy because he was with me!! lol) Going to spend some time tomorrow wrapping all my presents

im soo not ready for xmas, have hardly any presents will hopefully get a few today. my friends takin me to town. (the only time i can get out is with casey and on the bus so cant carry to much)

however i do have my tree up 😀 !!! me n casey are gonna put the window decs up today and lee needs to put celing decs up, but im happy!

Christmas? what, it is coming soon or something? 😕 I better got on that eh! 😜

Aaralyn is about the only one I'm going to be able to shop for this year anyway and that will be easy... not gonna be able to do much for anyone else because of my financial status right now and I'm really trying to be ok with that...

Tammy I'm sure everyone will understand!! Aaralyn is the most important and everyone should know that 😘

I've got everything now, even my wrapping paper so I can wrap them up while I'm bored and immobile lol. I've got the kids some cards to make to keep them occupied too 😀

Way to go Sarah!! You guys are all on the ball.... Even when I have money to do Christmas shopping I don't start until 1 or 2 weeks before Christmas day.... I do all my wrapping Christmas eve... why break tradition right? LOL works for me 😀

I know everyone's gonna understand... It was the same situation last year when I first moved here, I just had more hopes to be able to "go all out" this year. There's always next year! I know it's going to be a great Christmas this year no matter the situation, we got lotsa love around and that is the best part! 😍

i thinbk ppl will understand tammy. we only buy for our kids, my mum, my niece and james' 2 nieces. just cant afford everyone else. they all understand. got the kids a door plaque each. jami's came today. isnt it fab? hehehe. sorry its a bit blurry

Thanks for the encouraging words about Christmas this year Stacey... I think it's going to be a tough one for a lot of people but in a way, maybe it can become more about just being with family and loved ones and enjoying the time together and appreciating what we do have! 😀 oh wait, that's what we do for Thanksgiving LOL... That's what Christmas is about for me too though! 😀

We do the same we only shop for our boys and we try to get something for our parents.

I often make things...like lap quilts or homemade ornaments...the grandparents love those from the kids 😊

Thanks Cassie! I'm definately going to do some baking this year and we'll give cookies out to friends and loved ones (can't go wrong with that).... Might just take up your idea of making some ornaments and stuff too 😀 I wish I knew how to do any kind of quilting, that's on my list of things to do someday!

I posted a very easy way of making some xmas decs on tammy's 'big first mom' post if anyone is interested. It was in a xmas craft book and if like me you don't have an artistic bone in your body is great! Xx

I like that idea too Mandy! I've never heard of doing that before but it sounds like the final result would be very cool! (and inexpensive!!! 😀 )
