what were your fave shows?

What cartoons were your fave. when you were growing up?
I loved muppet babies, and captain Planet! I watched cartoons all morning and even attempted flipping between 3 shows at a time. 😀

care bears 😀
pinky and perky 😀

Pinky and Perky?
Do you mean Pinky and the Brain? Or is that a different show?

different but i have heard of that, pinky and perky was a film i think its black and white but i have the original video at my mums and the eyes flash wen u press button and it stil works lol

The eyes flash! That sounds more like a horror doll than a kids doll!

Pinky and Perky were g reat though, 2 little pigs that couldn't sing for toffee! Another of my fav's was Care Bears, Tugs, Rag Dolls and Fraggle Rock!

Simba the White Lion, Speed Racer, The Smurfs, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, some more I can't remember just now... Oh yea, The Kraft Super Star Hour, was an hour of different shows, not cartoons but kids shows like Land of the Lost, Sigmond the Sea Monster, oh yea and HR Puff and Stuff, that show was a bit freaky though, I assume since it was Brittish you guys had that?

I also loved Sunday mornings getting up and watching a Shirley Temple film followed by a good Tarzan flick.... and the Little Rascals too!!! (or aka Our Gang)

I took the liberty to jot down all the shows I can remember watching. I found some of these shows on youtube and have shown them to Candra.
Jem and the Holograms, The New Archies, My Pet Monster, The Smoggies, Biker Mice From Mars, My Little Pony, She-ra, He-man, Rainbow Brite, Bump-In-The-Night, Bobby's World, The Raccoons, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, and more.

What about the real classics.

The Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Stingray and of course Dr Who. Okay technically none are cartoons but still....

It's amazing it was aired on TV, how on earth would it be aired in this day and age! Every time I watch it I find it funnier and funnier, once got to the point where I could almost quote it word for word! Thats when I decided to cut down on watching it!
