tell me something new

Tell me something new about yerself that you havent told us before.

Here is mine,

when I was younger I played the double bass and was part of the regional youth orchestra. I was invited to come back to the orchestra on a tour of France in 2000. when we were there I played in the Scottish group and we played a small selection of music in Euro disney infront of the enchanted castle 😀

I am in the middle of setting up a new charity.

Me and 3 friends got asked to design a mosaic scene for our subway that was put up 2yrs ago

I am also an ex-musician.

I played a bit of piano however I played clarinet in the school orchestra and tenor saxophone in the jazz band and orchestra.

We played in St Davids Hall (Cardiff) and I have played in France, Holland and Germany.

Used the school saxophone so had to give it back when I went to university. Not played since.

I also took part in the Enterprise (sailing dinghy) world championships about 12 years ago (finished 130th out of 150, but was sailing somebody elses boat as a stand in).

I also used to be a crew member at the RNLI in Penarth before I went to University.

Sorry more than one thing, but there's a few things about me.

you play the sax? I am so jealous. I play clarinet aswell but always wanted to learn the sax.

Lihra, I will be the first to admit I had an interesting, exciting and busy childhood. Now it is all work and the gym. Interrupted with good times when the kids come to stay. Otherwise dull!

Alex, if you can play the clarinet then you can play the saxophone. At least definitely the tenor as all the keys are in the same place so no confusion. Takes I lot of puff. I was never going to take up music professionally in any shape of form, just something that I enjoyed, but always had to have sheet music. I couldn't play without it, and couldn't improvise. I have no real creative side, which is why I am not sure how far I will get with my hobby of photography as I can create anything unique or exciting with my images.

really??? Mind have to see if the wind specialist at school can lend me a sax for a while. My sister is really musical and went to Uni to study it but I never wanted to take it further than a hobby although did get my higher in it at school as it was an easy one for me to get. I do enjoy doing music with the kids at school but it is just an introduction for them and it is fun 😀

I am currently finishing grade 12 through home schooling. I've nearly got 1 credit and just have to do my English till I graduate. After I want to go to college for interior design.

SO another thing you don't know about me! I like cycling!!

I am right handed! Not interesting enough! Okay, I'm waiting for my coursework to turn up from the Open University. I'm taking a photography class to try and re-ignite some interest into my photography hobby.

I used to play drums when I was at school

ok, I don't think I've mentioned this before but I may have.... I used to be a figure skater (ice-skating) from age 10 to age 12, when the skating rink at the mall closed down I stopped because there was no where close to go anymore 🙁 I was actually pretty good and won a few medals... my mom has pics, i'll have to dig up some pics of those days. When I stopped skating I became a pom pom girl doing parades and competitions, have a few medals from that too!

Little secret, I haven't had ice skates on in over 20 years!! 😲

Ok I guess I can dig this thing up.

When I was about 6 or 7 I used to do tap dancing and done a few shows! I recently dug out my old costumes due to my Mum moving and had a good laugh going through them all. I will see about getting some pictures of them although it may not be a very good idea if I tried putting them on! lol

Um I played a recorder in Primary school for about a year and did tap at school for a year too, but never won anything.

I was a Brownie and a Girl Guide.

I love history and wanted to be an archeologist!!

Ok umm dont be shocked im not a psyco or nothing but..
I shoot i am a member of a gun club and i do competitive combat shooting i have won tropyehs i come 1st and second alot i am the only girl in my team (and the youngest)i have been doing this for about 8 years or so.
I own a gun and she yes she is my prized possesion i have been begging justin to buy me a new hot pink gun with diamonds for my competitons it looks awsome but he thinks im nutts 🙃
(no justin doesnt own a gun or shoot)lol

I was an Officer in our local Girls Brigade company but had to give it up when I got a job involving shift work.

I'm left handed but don't do the curled up wtiting of some 'lefties'

I run my own website and would go through fire for the majority of the members.

I am an avid reader and never go anywhere without a book.

I'm actually a very shy person irl and it takes me a while to totally relax with people.
