Yay, we are moving house.....

Remember back in Jan/Feb time we were looking at moving as having probs with the state of this house and then the Landlords apologised for the letting agents and promised to sort it all out??

Well here we are 6 months down the line and nothing - the walls are worse than ever and we've encountered numerous other probs. So we've decided to get the hell out (especailly finding out i'm pg). Buying isn't an option at the moment though, so still renting. We've viewed a few properties many of which were dumps and a little to far for me for work.

WELL today Mark and Georgia-Mae went to view a newish house not far from here in another village (on a newish housing estate) and told them when they rang this afternoon we'd have it. It's a 3 bed semi over 3 floors with garage built in and a small garden (very small compared to what we have now) and they do not mind us having the dogs 😀 All very modern and new carpets / curtains nice fiitted kitchen, en suite to master bedroom etc - a palace compared to this place. He's just had another phone call from her to find out that she's on Maternity leave from my Hotel, she works in accounts and i know her v well. She's over the moon that it's me 😀 (she found out she was pg when she was 6 months 😲 just thought she'd been putting on weight and had her baby girl 5 weeks ago - strange name mind (prudence ethel! - but there you go). Anyway i haven't seen it yet but it has been on the market recently so i'll see if i can find a piccy as they've decided not to sell it for about 3 years. She's living with her boyfriend now.

I think we'll be moving early - mid august. How exciting.

I'm sorry to leave this house for the fact of where it is located BUT new beginnings and will be so much better for Georgia (and bump) a nice new house all cosy. 😀 😀 😀

Good thing the move is sooner in your pregnancy rather than later... Just telling you now, in case I forget later, no lifting any boxes, or anything else, over 30 pounds!!! 😛

Thanks Ldies i'm real excited, we'll be moving in 2 or 3 weeks!

Went to see it yesterday adn it is lovely inside, very clean, modern (all beige walls and carpets - very fresh and a splash of accessories will make it very us i'm sure).

Master bedroom has a smallish bedrom next to it - perfect for a nursery and space on the landing for dp's 'office space'. GM's bedroom is on the same level as the living room and bathroom and then the downstairs has the integral garage and kitchen/diner.

Only downside is the garden it is tiny, and i mean tiny. Here we have nearly an acre of garden surrounded by huge trees and open fields - going to miss the wildlife and privacy - but it's new beginnings and time to move on! 😀

It's a reasonable price really too, to the prices near us anyway lol.

We are moving in next Weds!!!!! 😀 Well we get the keys on Weds don't think we'll be spending our first night there until the Friday but yay!!
