i am sooo upset with school UPDATE SS BEEN

thats just like dominic he can eat and eat and eat and he lanky and skinny i am glad he goes to his mammas at the weekend they can feed his never stopping tummy lol

Aaralyn is the same way, she is constantly hungry (or atleast saying she is) and could eat all day if I let her, she is skinny too, I don't know where she puts it but she is certainly well fed!

Hope Dominic has a great time at his mammas (is that his Grandma?)

Lets hope that common sense prevails - that is appalling about the head injury though - I would mention that to them too 😘

i am going to mention it they are not making me out to be something i am not and getting away with it

last week i was so upset now i am darn right angry with them

and yes hapydazy hunni that is his grandma his dads mum is called mamma and my num is a nanna

My friend was in the same situ as you,and the SS were horrible....they had chats with the kids teacher,and also examined her 2 kids for signs of abuse!! of course there were none....and they went round her house and checked her house over and the fridge and food cupboards!!!! BUT they found all was well and did not take her kids off her....but she felt like crap because of it...you may get a letter from SS saying that they will come and visit you....my advice be friendly pleasant and helpful!! being angry wont help....I wish you luck!

ss droppped in on me yesterday and guess what the kids were being brats and the house was a tip lol

she was very nice she sat and talked to the kids and found out about dominics toe how he did it and stuff and asked what homelife was like

she said they all told her i was the best mummy ever and they all loved me

she was very pleased and said she has no concerns with the children at all any of them

she did have a concern i may be sinking into my depression again and that i might need help with the home so she coming back in 2 weeks to discuss it and to check the house but then thats it

i told them all about school and stuff and the teacher not likeing me and she thinks they stupid and is calling them today to tell them she has no concerns with him at all

thank god for that lol

the flip side of this is that if there had have been a case of neglect anywhere and it had gone unreported they'd have been slated for it - trouble is because of high profile cases people are extra jumpy and the innocent suffer.
On a slightly different note a friend used to be an Educational Welfare Officer, and would have found it more suspicious if the house had been spick and span
Good that they're looking to help you - that is also what they're there for

i am soooooo glad that the SS found that you are fine and the kids are fine and that the school is overreacting.

But that said Elementary made a good point had they not followed it up and it turned into something serious they would have a lot of answers to give.

So better to be safe than sorry, it may not feel like for you, but at least they are doing their job.#

You are a great mummy and i hope that you are not getting into your depression but if you are go and see the dr and hell be able to help

I'm pleased it's all ok, you must feel so much better knowing they have no concerns about the kids.
As for the depression well I know what that's like, I hope you get the support you need

I hope the teacher keeps off your case now, I still can't understand why she didn't discuss anything with you until after calling them. 😛
