My friend is having a Dine@Mine party
has anyone ever heard of this or been to one?
basically it is a charity dinner/party (whatever you wanna do) you go along,take money and a bottle,and she hosts a meal and we play games and things to raise money for cancer research.
shes planning on having a pink theme and so i need to find a pink outfit,or just top-i dunno! really struggling tho as i cant find many pink maternity things! it just doesnt seem to be the colour of the moment does it! and then the odd few pink maternity things i come across are something my nan would wear!
i love being pregnant - but i hate having absolutely nothing comfortable and nice to wear!!! and home i live in joggers and t-shirts haha!! or if im with people i know,i dont care what i wear as most people have seen me at my worst lol! but i just want to make an effort as its something special shes doing... also need to get something pink for kev too! might get him a fetching pink headband haha!!
I would just wear pink scarf or something instead,maternity clothes are rubbish the only nice ones are from topshop or new look but they are just too expensive,think if I got pregnant again I would buy a couple of pairs of dungerees as the trousers used to fall down my bump all the time,and just wear a lose top over the top of the dungerees,have you looked in the littlewoods cat website they have some nice stuff in there,
exactly!! all the trousers i have are either too tight and my maternity ones fall down constantly so i show my ass to the world!! iv thort about buying a couple of pairs of dungers and living in them but i dont know if i could pass dungers off lol! i lived in em as a kid tho and i had a dunger dressand everything haha!!
my mum has a choice catalogue and i just been browsing on their see if theres anything i can order outta her catalogue but its all naff!! gonna check out littlewoods now! thanks for that link!
iv found this on the newlook site which is pretty cheap - imthinkin this along with a pair of 3/4 denimsand flipflops lol! i just dont know wether i thinkthe top is pink enough but i suppose i could always accesories it! find pink beads and a headband and things hey!

Next have a few pinky style tops in Maternity if that helps hun.
Their returns are free, but make sure you order two sizes , i.e. if you a 14 a 14 or 16 because they won't just exchange it. i made this mistake when i bought Charlotte some clothes, i got her some pumps and they were too small so I sent them back, but I realised when i came to re-order I'd have to pay delivery again 😉 I ended up finding some chaeaper ones in Matalan any way lol!

well when i saw the word 'toe thongs' i had to look wondering what they were and i said to meself "toe thongs - is a dam flipflop!!"
iv just sent a complaint to next too! we have 4 next stores local to here (within about 3miles of eachother) and not one of them sells maternity clothing instore!! none of our new looks do either!! we dont have a bloomin marvelous or anything like that and my local dorothy perkins stopped sellin maternity wear last summer!! great!! personally i think its their way of gettin more money so they can charge for P&P!!!
Is there anyway they can send it to the store, I'm sure you can arrange to pick up your order from the store so you don't have to pay delivery???
I agree with you though hun, our Next was done out and it had two racksof maternity 🤔 , it was c**p, I'm not sure they still even do it now. Our new look doesn't do maternity either, I actually didn't even realise it did until recently 😉
Dorothy Perkins is the only one I could get anything decent from. I got a few tops from Asda but there trousers never fit right.
