Do You Like To Read?

DO you read alot of books?
I am always reading and love it. Better than the tv lol.

Just thought maybe if there was a few of us that read often we would have a board for book club or something? (am i making sense lol)

Talk about which books we've read, whats good etc.

Yes that might be a nice idea, we could talk about fav books and authors, what we are reading, good kids books etc. 😀

Normally i read a lot but at the moment i don't have a book on the go, i blame the internet and these forums. 😀
But i am going to start reading again as i do enjoy it when i have a good story on the go.

I always have a book on the go, pretty stuck in my ways with what I read tho so would be good to get some ideas for something a little different!

anyone else? Once I start a book I can't put it down.

I'm a MASSIVE James Patterson fan. I'm trying to get all of his books now.

But I wont pay much so it's a case of picking up a few when I do the charity shop rounds!!

Also like anything psychological, criminal or generally a bit wierd.

a brilliant site is read it swap it. Its free. You list the books you want to swap and you can swap with other people all you pay is the cost to post your book.

Ah see i'm a hoarder - I like to keep my books once I have read them, especially ones I thought were really good!

me too, i put the ones i didn't enjoy on their and had some good ones in return. Also people always giving me books, and if i didin't like or enjoy them i put them on their.

I have a massive box full of books I either haven't read or were my husbands - so they are going on ebay!

i always said if i ever had a big house i would have one room where its all bookcases so i had room to put my books lol. They in a cupboard stacked up in boxes.

yeah, I love display bookcases - but in my house theres barely room for the essential furniture let alone anything extra! lol

same here. i must keep doing the lotto so i can have my own library!

my husband and i have a small two up, two down but we still managed to ram 4 bookcases in our bedroom against the bk wall. we are both book crazy!

I like reading but dont have time at th moment for it- to busy with Uni

I read all the time, its what i do before I go to sleep, i can't just get in bed and lay there i have to read 🙂

I love fantasy novel, tho a friend of mine introduced me to Karin Slaughter and im hooked, read them all about 3 times so far.... 😀

I like to read when in bed as it makes me sleepy, otherwise just lay there for hours.

I LOVE reading but really don't get the time now - working part-time and being at home with Leo and Eloise in the afternoon is quite tiring. By the time I get them to bed and finish eating/washing up etc I am so tired I just fall asleep with no warning lol!

I did start reading The Camomile Lawn at college last year before my exams and got half way through it so I know I can if I find time lol. Haven't finished yet though. I must try and get more energy.

My favs are thrillers and sci-fi or sci-fantasy but I will try most types of books. I can't stand Jodi Picoult though - apologies if you are one of her many fans. I just can't see what everyone finds so good about them.

i think i have read one of Jodi Picoult books but can't remember which one so couldn't have appealed to me either.

I like James Herbert - magic cottage. Brilliant book. My favourite are memoirs though. And i can't believe the way some people have lived and how they survived. Also just read jacky newcombe an angel by my side, which was good and actually helped me with coming to terms with a death a little.

i love reading, when i have the time, i have just finished reading a piece of cake by cupcake brown. it is an amzing read!!!

im now reading an angel by mu side by kacky newcomb, so far i love it, but i havent read it for days, might have ago 2night!
