Time for the lid to be lifted :)
Well, it's about time I spilled the beans on whats going on life wise here, hence my quiet time on JP ( despite rolling by everyday to have a peep at whats going on ). Well, as some of you know I was in a relationship with someone ( no names as thats not relevant, and people that know me, know who she is anyway 🙂 )
It was a 5 year relationship but it died very quickly, but we both hung on in there for the sake of our nearly 5 year old son. Maybe we should have gotten out earlier, but maybe fate wouldn't have intervened when it did. Anyway, We were together for 6 years almost when we came to the same conclusion at the same time that the relationship wasn't doing either of us any favors, we were fighting and shouting at each other over the smallest of things. The last fight was over the amount we spent in the supermarket, thats when we decided that it was time to break loose and go our separate ways. This was back in October last year, and since then, we still live together, she lives down stairs and I live upstairs, she's looking to move out of here as soon as something becomes available. We get on better now than we ever did as a couple, so all that side of things is good.
Now, back in December, I met a new lady from Sweden and things clicked right away, you know how things feel amazingly right?...thats what we both felt for each other. She came here to visit in January and we hit it off so well in person, the time she went back to Sweden was heart breaking. We saw each other as much as possible via web cam and MSN and Skype. We both knew that we were in love with each other and had to see each other again as soon as possible, so she came over again in February for a week and again, the feeling was amazing, and yet another heart breaking farewell. However this was only temporary as we were to be re-united after 2 weeks for good. She came back for 2 weeks in March, and I went with her back to Sweden for 2 weeks, big deal right?...well, for me yes...As people who know me will also know, I have been battling depression for the past 5 years ( and possible a good percentage of my life, but people just didn't pick up on it ). To leave the house to go 5 mins down the road used to be so hard, so I decided that to get myself back to where I needed to be was to make this huge journey to another country. Well, I did it, and we returned to the UK on the 16th April, still very happy - Engaged and.....Expecting our first Child together!!. we are ecstatic and very pleased. Sorry this is not a very well put together series of events, but I have just come back from the Hospital with my sweet heart as we have had a scan to make sure things are going well, saw it's tiny heart beating away ( and having seen this before, it was still amazing ), So December will see the arrival of a new member of the house and we couldn't be more excited!!!!
And on the ex front, she now has moved on also and is with a fella that makes her happy and has a job she enjoys doing, so all is good. hehe, apart from being a mod, I do like to keep up with things and offer advice here and there, no suprise then that I am looking at going into councelling as a profession. 😀 thanks for the congrats 😀

she cant be as bad as me!! nobody is lol! us stokies are known for our thick speech!! i was once informed by my spanish tutor that unless i learned to speak proper english i had bob hope of learning the spanish language!! charmin!!
i love the stokie ayup duck hehe i picked that up from when i lived up there even started to get a stokie twang on some words i was shocked when people told me i was getting a stokie twang!!
do u know what winds a stokie up more than anything... referring to us as a scouser!! lol! apparantly we talk so alike (ours is a more slower 'ay ay' form lol)
yeah the 1st time i ever heard the stokie accent i said to them that they sounded like a scouser and i got a bit of abuse LOL
