I have a confession.........

While Jp was of line i was so bored that i had a snoop on another parenting forum 😛 (sorry i was sooooo bored)
Anyway i never posted as i didnt want to nor did i feel comfortable doing so i just wanted something to read.
I can't believe how AWSOME JP is compared to the site i went onto the minute a newbe made a post about something they would just pounce like wild cats with horrid remarks and NO ADVICE. 🤔
The only thing i did like was they had a debate forum it was very interesting to see how people responded to certain issues that got brought up.
Anyways im sooo glad that im back here with my Jp family where i feel comfortable enough to ask even the most stupidest questions 🙃 and know that i will get a response that will not make me or anyone else feel like a idiot.:D

alot of forums are VERY catty - i can name 2 of the most popular forums and in my oppinion they are the worst ever!! i know i can snap at people sometimes lol! but i hate know-it-alls who basically know nothing! theres one forum that everything i used to say this one person would always have something to say! so i decided to get snotty back - they soon backed off lol!

but i agree this is the most down to earth place i know - yeh i think it could do with a little spicing up and better things adding but who cares about features when its got the greatest people here!! 😀

I was sooo shocked at how agressive and abusive some of the people were on there, and this was meant to be a parenting forum????????
Hayley on that forum everyone were know it alls lol and god forbid if someone had a different opinion!!!!!!!(watch out)lol

I must admit this is the best forum ever. I joined one before I signed up to JP and never got a reply to a topic I posted and decided if I had to read one more thread where people were basically giving abuse I would chuck out my laptop lol.

I had a snoop here before signing up but loved it from first look, it is easy to use and the good thing was everyone seemed really welcoming and the fact I could see blokes were welcome too. The one I was on before seemed to oust a man as soon as he'd sign up and call blokes weird for being interested in a parenting forum 😛

I also think its great that even with all the down-time jp's had recently most of us are back!!

Agree this is the BEST forum. I tried another one months ago and really felt uncomfortable. It was so clicky and there were a group of 3 or 4 who obviously ran the site or were personal friends of those who ran the site and were SO rude I never went back on.

have no trouble of that here! the people who run this are hardly on haha! then the underwings - the only 2 we really see are alex and tammy - but that tammy,u gotta watch her... she can be a gobby thing!!

yep yep, that'd be me! I like to moderate and participate, which are both pretty easy to do cuz we got great members here (even if some are gobby... HAYLEY!!!)

I think some have come on and found us to be clicky (I think we were accused of it in a post a little back 😛 ) but I think the difference with us is that we have a very good repoire with all the members (the active ones) but we are always open and welcoming to new members. I've only participated on one other parenting forum and the members there were nice too 😉 even if there were only a few members 😜

tut tut!! who accused us of being clicky! 😲 where was i when someone said this lol! then again,the dumb moo i am if someone was hinting i never would of clicked they were talkin about me haha! but il talk to anyone on here - but if i have something to say il also say it!

You two post loads on here so you are bound to be friendly as some of the most active members of the forum, I wouldn't say you were 'clicky' in an unpleasant way or that you exclude anyone else.

must admit I am a member of 2 forums this one and another small forum and both are the best but its taken me about 2 years to find the good forums,was a member of a very well know forum and it was so bitchy so dont use that one now

I've been a member of a few - the one beginning with a B was my lifeline when pg with dd -then i left with some of the regulars and went on another site - but it al got too bitchy and bullying for my likeing!

I've browsed a few others - but the only one i've used in the last year or so is here! 😀

AND I LOVE IT!! 🙂

well i have used other parenting sites. i was admin n mod on one but have disided to come off and am an active mem,ber of another forum. i used to really love it here and was alwasy on, but after wot happened with one member i kinda got scared off. but i am back now!
