when do you put yr xmas tree/deccies up????

do you do it on the 1st or nearer xmas?

we usually put ours up on the first weekend in dec. although this year were going to put our tree up nearer xmas as i know horatio (my 7 month cat) will be up the tree lolol

Oh Stacey i know that feeling, with one cat and 4 kittens - but ours is going up tomorrow or Sunday...i cannot wait!!!! 😀 😀 😜

Well they are big little kittens now - they are just under 4 months!

Kingston and Winston (2 gingers), Hero (black and white named by dd), Peanut - our little cute tubby one, who was so small we didn't think he'd survive and Mini Jaff (named after mummy Jaffa, as it's the spit of her) i must be mad as we have a Dalmatian Samson and Lab Jenny..... 😲

awwwwwww theyre fab names 🙂 mine are called chow (my mum named him after actor chow yun fat 😉 ) peaches, smokey, bandit and horatio 😀

ooo I have hadmy tree up for a week now 😜

I couldnt resist it and my cat has tried to climb it several times 😲

Last year i put them up end on Nov and god did i get stressed out 4 times i had to re do the tree ha-ha

well the kids have been buggin me and im not sure when i'll put them up maybe Sunday?

i got to go get a new tree so im gona put it up sometime nxt wk 🙁

ive had my tree and dec's up for a week. would usually be first weekend in dec but i wanted to make sure i was able to do them and see them for a while.

my parents always put theirs up first weekend in dec.

lee's parents dont put theirs up till after his sisters bday on the 8th.

ive never bought a new tree, mine was my mams, she got a white one the year before i moved out but kept hold of the old one for me.

ha, snap to lees parents. we have to put up the tree after my hubbys bday on the 8th. we're always itching to get it and put it up. we always have a real one cos thats what i had as a child and just cant break that habit! especially cant wait this year cos the boys are that bit older and will get it more this year (their 2 and 3) 😀

my decs have been up since last wednesday! i always like to get mine up before december comes in time for the advent calender!

and every year, i have to re-decorate my tree every day as my cats pull it over at least 3 times a day! this year iv had ethan pulling it over aswel as the cats!!! grrrrr 😠

my husband is doin the tree now,for some reason i cant be bothered doing it which is weird as i love too lol xxx

We'll be getting our tree about a week before Christmas... but... since all my Christmas decorations are still at Marc's (long story but he's become quite an ass unfortunately, this having alot to do with his current girlfriend, but anyway 😠 ), Tomorrow we are going shopping for Christmas decorations for the house and Mike's brother is going to do the lights outside for us since he really gets into that kinda stuff and volunteered to do it 😀

I'm soooo excited about Christmas this year 😀 (even if I haven't started any Christmas shopping yet 😲 )

Oh and I feel for ya cat owners although all of mine have generally been good about leaving the tree decorations alone, it's usually a dog's tail that knocks them off the tree 😉 ...

Well usually it would have gone up first weekend in December, which would have been this weekend, but with us having Martin's Grandparents here at the moment, and the house just being upside-down, it will probably be more like the 15th.

I'm not too bothered as Mart's Grandparents have 2 dogs, Zac is practically a bear lol, so 3 dogs and 2 kids and a Christmas tree isn't such a great idea hehe! The later it goes up, the less I will have to re-dress it (I'm apparently very anal about having no gaps on the tree 😊 ).

I'm just dreading putting it up though because we have nowhere to put it - and we don't have a small tree either - it's 7ft 😲
