Apologies for site downtime

JustParents has been offline from about 6am this morning until now. We are currently investigating why this happened, and will be taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.

omg i feel so awful..my bf was on my comp last night and when i went on it this morning and JP wouldnt work i blamed him for breaking my comp 😊 ..i beter ring him and say sorry 🤪

Ok, unfortunately we're still having problems with the web hosting, and the site is going up and down like a yo-yo.

I'm looking into why this is happening, and also waiting on a quote for a much more powerful server to run this website.

Please bear with us during these problems, as I promise they'll be fixed asap

The problem in part was due to the amount of files on the server apparently - this has been fixed now but we now have the issue that perhaps our current host isn't enough for our requirements.

We're investigating either renting a dedicated server PC for JP, hosted in a very fast datacentre in the UK, or alternatively buying our own server and situating this in the same datacentre. Either solution should mean less downtime, and even more speed on the site! The process might well take a week or more though, so I hope the current server will hold up till then! 😲

I felt like I'd lost my right arm this morning when i couldn't get on 🙁

I managed to get as far as the homepage but couldn't get onto the forums. I thought it was odd I was the only person logged on LOL!
