My spelling thread... :D
Right, this'll be in red ink I think...... ð
I'm going loopy. Maybe I'm missing work... I'm just gonna entertain myself on this thread. Just ignore meeeeeeee!!! Feel free to join in LOL
'Lets' Let's (short for let us)
heeheeeheeeeeeeee
'Loose' that means 'not tight'... lose means to have lost summat....
Loosen - make less tight....
lalalalla who's gonna shoot me? Am I gettin on yer ð yet??? LOL xxx
I don't suffer from this problem yet ð
and as I'm going to be a P1 teacher in August I better get used to bad spelling ð
Can I add one?
I have a pair of socks that says on them 'no one needs to see you're arse'
Arghhh 'no one needs to see you are arse'? that makes no sense.
Youre ð You're (Short for you are)
.. not to be confused with Your (Belonging to you)
"You're loving your chocolate bar, aren't you!"
ok, is it everybody or every body?? just curious?
The cat's paws only gets an apostrophe when you're using the name of the cat, or as above. If you write it's paws , you'll confuse your reader. Ownership of 'it' doesn't get an apostrophe because it's means 'it is' or 'it has'.
I started this thread in an attempt to correct the stuff I saw on threads... now i'm just randomly ranting - aaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhh!!!!!
hapydazy said:It depends. Usually it's 'everybody' but in some cases it can be the other one. Say, for instance, you're counting corpses (as you do...) You're gonna say 'every body has been tagged' (yuck!), not 'everybody'. Know what I mean? So, use the first one LOL!
ok, is it everybody or every body?? just curious?
LOL ROFLMA!!! the corpse thing...
