do you find it hard?
being on your own?
I have to say so far it(4 years) it hasnt been as bad as I thought it would be. I have very good parents who have been so supportive of me and help me when I need it (especially this year going back to uni)
I have no contact with my ex- no maintenance etc and it s the way I like it, mean I can discipline J and bring him up without having to scabble with someone else
thats great hun ur doing a great job, i could never do it alone! 🙁
I am also a single Mom and learnt to adjust to the life. My Ex is stil really good I am in the house still with our Son and he pays the mortgage as in maintenance payments for him I could never slate him. If I was really in need of money he would help me out but I only ask for the mortgage to be paid then I stand on my own two feet

I find things quite tough my boy is only 16 weeks. We are having problems with my ex visiting at the mo. Things could be easier but we are still far better off than we were when my ex was around. Im sure things will sort themselves out and get easier.
Oh bless ya Mummy we are all here for you should you eed to talk. It does get easier with time but its the waitin for the easier part to come.

I feel it's more frustrating, all i ever wanted was for Lauren's dad to show her he cared, which he never has done, i've no money off him and he hasn't saw Lauren in about 3 months, he hasn't even tried 2, and although i manage fine, it's still gonna be heartbraking when Lauren get's older and she starts asking questions about her ''daddy'' xx
at the moment, yes, I'm very frustrated that Aaralyn's Dad is not stepping up to the plate and taking more responsibility for her GGGRRRRR 😬
i was a single mum for 5yrs. i left my ex when jami was 3 months old and i was very lucky in the fact that i moved back with my mum. she worked mornings and i worked afternoons so someone was there with jami. i didnt feel alone without a partner as i think living at home helped. i couldnt imagine doing it now, but i suppose its a case of having too really if the time ever came
my hat goes off to all you who raise kids and run a home single handedly

hi i am new to this i got 4 kids i find it really hard by myself. x 🙁
im a single mum have been since 7 weeks pregnant
i find it hard emotionally more than anything
he has just started paying for his son only last week
I've been a single dad for (coming up) ten years. No maintenance payments. In fact nothing but grief from their mum. Although it has eased off over the last few years.
I've no family helping me out. It's been a real struggle sometimes. But I'm just now begining to get everything back on track. Don't get me wrong. I'd do it all again. The kids are always worth the struggle.
I find the emotional void of adult company the hardest thing to bear.
Still, you know what they say? You can't keep a good'un down. 😀

its having to do everything on your own, thats hard!
I sometimes find it exceptionally hard, but it does get easier with time, you learn to adjust
I don't find it hard. My parents are really supportive and that's a huge factor for me.
