All profiles our members create, (if made public), are free for any other member to view. This includes any photos, video or entry that is posted.
You have the control who views your profile, once your profile is open Bebo has no control over who views it.
Here are some steps you can take to make your content more secure:
1) On your 'Profile' find the 'Photos' tab and click on it.
2) Then click the 'Photo Album' you wish to edit.
3) Click the 'Edit Album' link.
4) Check or uncheck the boxes for the two options given:
* Direct Friends Only - Only let my direct friends view this album.
* Allow copy - Let others copy photos from this album into their own album.
Notes: Checking the 'Direct Friends Only' box means that the album cannot be viewed publicly or at your URL address: http://www.bebo.com/username .
5) Click the SAVE button when you are finished.
To block a person whom you think is copying your content:
1) Navigate to the profile of the person you wish to block. You can do this by clicking on their username or photos in your profile. Alternatively, access their profile by going to http://www.bebo.com/username .
2) Under their profile photo, find the 'Block' link and click on it.
3) Click the button 'Block This Member'
As an extra precaution always think about the content you are posting. Do not post anything on your profile unless you are 100% sure you would like to share it with the entire internet community.

this person is very sad and I think needs some help
but the more I think about it they haven't done anything illegal- it isn't identity fraud because they haven't tried (as far as we are aware) to obtain any money/credit under this persons name. they have used some photos and tried to pass them off as their own.
I am always very careful when I add an album etc that it is for friends only and not everyone can few it you have to ask my permission (Im always careful because of my ex)
I guess you just never think some sick weirdo will steal pics of your kids and pass them off as your own...but at the end of the day, who do they call Mummy and Daddy?...not them thats for sure, be safe in the knowledge thats something they will never have the privalidge of!
this happens more than people are aware of. There was a woman who was a member of JFM`s before the site split to become tns and just parents and she had done exactly the same thing.
she had a whole identity built around 3 kids that she had stolen the picture of the web ðĪŠ

That thought occured to me straight away when I read this, I was one of the party that exposed her for what she really was, and I am not ashamed to admit that. But on the flip side, people that suffer from mental illness in such a way are often flamed, but in reality they need much needed help and support and never get it, so wrap themselves into their own little bubble, they see no wrong in what they are doing and it's the only way the world gives them the slightest bit of notice, very sad really.

Everyone should be careful with what photos they put on the web xx such a shame xx I really want to put my childs photo on but I wont xx take care all xxxx
