yes u can dye your hair hun i remember a post a bit bck a lady wanted to dye her hair whislt pregnant and another lady who also used the site happened to be a hair dresser and she told her it was perfectly fine as it dont go in ur blood stream and things 😀 h t h

I used to cut my own hair, until last time - I did it slightly wrong, so it wasnt all even.. and asked me partner to straighten it up for me, BIG MISTAKE!!!!

He cut it far too short, and i couldnt even put it up in a pony tail anymore.. and it was more uneven than when i did it.

Needless to say, i'll be using hairdressers from now on.

I always used to cut my own hair after I got stung for a £45 haircut at Toni and Guy.....until one time I cut my fringe so short that I looked like a monk! Since then I've vowed to never ever cut my own hair again 🙂

I used to cut my own hair all the time - I begrudge paying twice the amount a man has to pay and I'm sure it's sexist, but I found a hairdresser that charges the same for a cut & blow dry whether you're male or female.

SUGAR- If you're worried about home dyeing use a semi-permanent colourant it has less chemicals and the Botanics range by Boots is mostly herbal ingredients. I use them now as my hair started to react badly to hair dyes and it dried out and split. Now my hair is fine and there's hardly any splits or dry end after two months of using Botanics semi-perm dye and a decent conditioner.

I dyed my hair! It was supposed to be a violet colour but has come out more on the red side - which doesnt bother me as i usually go red! 😜
I think my hair has taken in more dye than usual though as having dark hair the colour doesnt take to my hair that well but this has and i have heard ur hair can take in more/less colour when ur prg!

its fine to dye your hair hun when preg they just say the colour doesnt end up as dark as its meant to be, i did mine black when preg with DD2 and it wasnt as black as normal!!

i used to cut my hair and i did it all wrong once and it ended up in a right mess! never again!

Ive dyed mine very dark brown,,, im usually red hence my name... my sis is an hairdresser she cuts mine now.
