Our Bathroom..........
Had a bath on Wednesday, and the water was not draining away, so I called Gary my husband up stairs, and he and a look, we got the plunger, and all that was happening was the dirty water was coming up through the sink, and all this muck started coming up, then the sink wouldn't drain away, so we called the council out the following morning, and was told they would be out within 24 hours, so we could not wash, have a bath, or brush our teeth properly, so I phoned them again this morning and was told they would be out today, then at about 11-30am they tuned up, 2 blokes about 20, they fixed it, now my bathroom is a mess
ewww yuck! Poor you... Glad ya got it fixed though. Just be careful cleaning it up if it was raw sewage. I lived in an apartment one time and the sewage drain got clogged below the street and it was causing sewage back up to come up from the tub drains, the toilettes and the sink. It was gross and my landlord did not clean it up properly and later I found out he could have gotten in really big trouble because he was dumping it out of buckets on the public sidewalk. Thank God mine was not so bad, but the 2 apartments on either side of me had a good 4 inches of raw sewage all over their floors. I did go onto the sidewalk after with buckets of bleach water to try and get rid of any "yucky bacteria and germs" that might have stuck around.

Oh much better thanks, I have cleaned it all up, and I am having a bath soon 😀
Its a little rude to complain about someone doing their job, theirs is to fix the problem not clean the mess.
You have you bath fixed (I know cause you posted about having one) You should be happy with that not putting s**t on hard working men just doing their job.

Emilysmum I once had this with counil also come to fix a leak i had in kitchen roof and they ripped all cladding off in bathroom it was a real mess and guess what iv still got the leak 😛

OK so I was a little smart in another post but I didn't think this one was a poison response, I was trying to defend the hard working men that just do their job, a honest days work and have people make negative comments towards them for no real reason.

Good workmen also usually go out of their way to clear up any mess that they have made!! I've not once had a workman round my house that has left it in a mess - I usually say to leave it as I will just do it again anyway!!

Play nice please Kylie. I have yet to meet an unpleasant person on here, yes we voice our opinions and yes they at times differ, but seriously - a bit of tact perhaps?
