Ellee1984, where about in somerset are you hun, as i'm in somerset too.
i live just out side burnham-on-sea how about u?
Isn't that just up the M5 a bit?
I'm in between Yeovil and Taunton, Nr Somerton if you know where that is?
yeah off the m5 in between bridgwater and weston super mare. yup i know down that way i was down at my friends house in yeovil last week
Small world isn't it. My dp works in bridgewater so he'll know where you are.lol
I've only just got back from Yeovil, took the kids to ninesprings as it was warm and sunnny!
me and my used to go down there alot mainly in winter though lol we'd buy a pizza from dominoes and walk to ninesprings and sit on a bench in there and through leaves and sticks at each other and into one of the ponds... so childish but those were the days..
LOL, all carefree then, not like now eh? Not that i'd change any of it for the world of course.
the days where your clothes didnt have baby sick and bits of food they decided to mush in on you or slobber or in my case my dd has just got blood down me cos she just managed to bang her chin off the floor and know her dummy into her 2 top teeth that have just come through and now my lovely top has blood all down it and so does her brand you white t-shirt kids hey..
Oh yeah i remember those days, and when popping to the shops just meant jumping in a car and out, now it's 'right changing bag, bottles, get kids ready blah blah blah, get them in the car, out again, in a buggy etc etc.
Poor little love, is she ok? I can remember when Joshua fell over just after he started walking and almost put his two front teeth thru his lip! There was blood everywhere too!
yeah she had a big hug and kiss from mummy (mummy cuddles make everything better) and i just given her a "magic" biscuit to make everything better (aka malted milk/cow biket) hehehe oh the little white lies we tell them to make it better when they are young even though she prolly has no idea as she only 10 months old.. still every little helps i guess.
hi,
i know some people from weston super mare.went down there last november to watch glastonbury carnival, wow thats quite a sight. had a great weekend down there, thinks its a nice part of the country
i took my little girl to the burnham carnival she loved it she was only a couple of months old and she was fasinated by all the lights and music and everyone around us was cooing over her. i love the carnivals they just have such a great atmosphere unfortunately like every event you always get some idiots who want to ruin it but never anything major happened in all the years ive been except for the few instances where someone has unfortunately died. i think it gives a real sense of community and i dont know really know of any other parts of the country that have a festival like this, it really brings on teh sense that your heading into the christmas season for me.
