No Pregnancy is the same

I can vouche for this. I am now on my fourth pregnancy and all of the were different and special in their own way. My first daughter of course everything was new. She gave me a scare because the cord was wrapped around her neck three times and I was told I was very lucky that she had made it through.

My second daughter was in a lying in and to a point where I had to be reinduced. She was the smallest of the lot but the most difficult to bring in this world. The inducement worked differently and I could not push her out with a contraction even if she was crowning

Oh but my third daughter was the nicest of all. She popped out before they could get me in a delivery room. I did not feel unbearable pain and she was just a happy baby. But the loudest I might add. 🙂

I'm excited to go on my fourth and see what special surprises he or she has in for me. Share your stories and how they differentiate from one another 🙂

I have to agree that no two pregnancies are the same. With my first I had no morning sickness and a very easy pregnancy until my 7th month when I would have times when my heart would race. At 36 weeks my water broke and my son was born 4 weeks premature but still perfect in every way. He was smallish at 5 lbs 4 oz and didn't have his sucking reflex. He stayed in the hospital for 5 extra days and then we were able to bring him home. With my second pregnancy I had queasiness all through my first trimester, I had a cervical polyp that would bleed if I stood too much. My second was born at 39 weeks and it was such an easy delivery.

No matter what they say. Each pregnancy is a new experience in itself. Some are easy and painless others make you wanna scream. Its all apart of the process of becoming a mom and bringing a new life to this world. Each is rememorable and wonderful. Such a blessing, and the pain and 9 months of ups and downs are worth it. 🙂 thanks for sharing your experiences.

I'm only a mum to one, so far, but I've heard that every pregnancy is hugely different from my friends who have more than one child. I guess in part that scares me - I had a pretty straightforward pregnancy and delivery for my first, and I guess I perhaps took that for granted a little bit. I still complained a ton when I was pregnant, because I was tired all the time and felt uncomfortable - but there were no complications or anything so I should be counting my lucky stars.

Whether you had complications or not pregnancy will always be difficult. I also believe as a preggy we have all the right in the world to complain about every little nick and nat because sooner or later we will pop out a bundle of joy in the most painful way. 🙂

I agree with that as well, though there are similarities in all my three pregnancies, they are still very different for each pregnancy.

Now I am having my third pregnancy, I am not sure if it's because of my age, I am much older now as compared to my previous two pregnancies and I am not as fit as before, I am feeling not so comfortable. This baby may be bigger size, and my body size is quite small, so I am already feeling my belly is stretching. Moreover, it might because I am also taking care of my another two children at the same time, so I am feeling more tired.

But, I am still grateful for being pregnant, and I am still able to eat and sleep well. It's really a great experience having a baby in my belly.

Well, I have one son right now and we're not actively trying for another baby. I am on contraception since I had a CS and I don't think it's good to have another baby too soon when you undergo a non-normal delivery. Time will tell when we're going to try for another baby.:)

With my first and only pregnancy, everything was quite difficult. I gained so much weight and din't exercise. I know that if I am going to get pregnant again, I would exercise and eat more healthy foods. Another issue with my first pregnancy is that we didn't go to an OB-GYN immediately during those first few months. Although my son is fine, I think it's essential to have that check-up to ensure your baby's health.

I know a lot better now. I think if ever we're going for another baby, I'd be more experienced and knowledgable about it.

Oh, I couldn't imagine the fear; having complications like that.. but all was well, I'm assuming 🙂

My pregnancies were pretty similar actually. I got heartburn with my second, like, all.the.time.. but otherwise, they were both big babies and I could barely walk once I started showing lol.. SUPER exhausting.

My deliveries were different. My first was 18 hours of agonizing pain. They gave me two epidurals and neither worked. He got stuck, they used the forceps (injuring him.. he was born black and blue, my poor baby) and just as they were ready to cut me open, he decided to let go and meet me lol. There is a longer story, but that delivery was very traumatic for me and I regret how it all went down, but I was uneducated with both deliveries. If I could do it over again, I'd deliver at home.

My second was 36 hours, pain pain pain NO PAIN then he practically delivered himself before the nurse made it to the room lol. Impatient like his Mummy lol...
