Preparing for root canal treatment.

I went to a dentist at Burlington to fill two cavities on the lower right side of my mouth. He told that the cavities were real deep and that they could have led me to needing a root canal. Well, I know that decay is the number one cause of root canals but because of teeth sensitivity I am afraid to undergo a root canal treatment. Dentist inspired me a lot so that now I decided to try it out. Please please pray for me.

All the best. I had my treatment and it's a bit painful.

I've had three root canals up until now. And they're a real pain. Were you administered anesthesia on cheeks and gums? I used to get double shots. This way, I would save myself of the pain of needles being inserted. But boy it would trouble me. When the effects of anesthesia would wear off... Worse is the fact that there's not even any alternative to RCT. Or is there?
