Gross... a uninvited guest lol!!!!!!!!!

At the ripe age of 33 i got my first cold sore 🤢 the most gross thing i have ever had!! I don't know why i got it now? I'm not sick not stressed and haven't kissed anyone other than my kids and dh but yes i now know they can come up when ever.
Well mine just had to come up on the night i was going out with the girls to a ladies night!! I never go anywhere anymore or have a reason to get dressed up and feel pretty very often then THIS had to come along an extra uninvited guest on my lip Pmsl!!

I get cold sores and they are gross!!! The compeed patches are good and if you start getting them regularly then try a virolight (£25) from boots/super drug no need for creams or patches, just zap the coldsore. They don't last as long either when attacked with the virolight. And because it is battery operated it works out so much cheaper than buying aviclor cream every time you have an attack.xx

Thanx Alex, i actually did use the compeed patches and they worked great. I put my lip gloss on top of a patch and you couldnt tell i had one on. I have never heard of the virolight if i get another coldsore i will look into it for sure. It was my first cold sore and im hoping it will be my last!!!
I wasnt game enough to use cream as i was scared of touching it then spreading it anywhere else. A few people told me that the creams actually feed it and make it larger before it starts getting any better (not sure if thats true).
