have taken a test

I'm really scared to believe this but I have taken a test ahead of my dr appointment on Friday. I'm on day 40 of my cycle and the test has come out as a POSITIVE. Absolutely terrified to believe it...could it be true? I am taking another one in the morning. Scared to believe this good news. We have wanted this so long. I have spoken to my husband who is at work who is frightened to believe it too. I really want to ring my mam and speak to her but we have all had so much disappointment over the last 6-7 years I dont want it to be wrong! I keep thinking it's my body and hormones playing tricks on me. I'm terrified the test has done a false reading. Cant wait til Friday! 😲

If you have a positive result it's pretty certain. You can get a false negative but not a false positive. Congrats and good luck

Thanks. Heres hoping. I have done more tests as I still cant quite believe it. They have all been positive too. 🙂

Sooooo happy 😀 Been to Drs today and i'm 6 weeks pregnant. Cant believe it. I had given up hope! Thanks to everyone on here for your continued support and advice. I still havent taken it in properly. x
