Needing advice
hey there needing peoples advice, me and my partner dave have got a lil girl who is 2 in July, i would love another baby but my partner is worried what people will think of how close our children will be, does anyone else think it is too soon to be thinking about more children? I'm so confused because i feel ready but don know what to do!
i think its a perfect gap. By the time you fall pregnant, your 1st will be 2 if not just over 2, and approaching 3 by the time baby 2 is born. Children start playschool at 2 years and 6 months i think it is. So you will have more time with your new one whilst your first is enjoying playschool and new friends. xxx
thanks darl i needed someone to agree with me! that is just what i thought, people ask me why i want more kids buti think i was just made to have children as i have always loved them!
thank you anyway for you opinion hope to keep chatting to you!
everyone is differnt hun! i will have 4 yrs between my two when this bundle decides to arrive and i think its the perfect gap because dd is independant enough to keep herself entertained and get her own drinks etc from the fridge whiel im busy with bubs - although if we had the chance i wouldnt of minded a smaller age gap im gald we waited now - also dd will be at school in sept so when i go bk to work i will only have 1 set of chidlcare fees to pay - (luckily df can flex his hours to fit around dds school day as he works for a fmaily business) i also feel 4 yrs is a great age gap as dd is now old enough for me to explain why i cant give her as much attention as shes used to having while im feeding bubs etc and shes also old enough to help fecth items and to feed baby etc so she will feel more involved 🙂
Thanks alot for your help, still very confused but will just have to see what happens I suppose.
It isnt just me who this is going to effect, it will change Dave and Mia Ruby's life too.
Its a big decision but am sure we will workout what to do.
Thank you for looking at this! 😘
My son was 2 weeks after I had my daughter. The gap works for us. It is hard work though as I'm a stay at home mum. I wouldn't change a thing. You cares what others think anyway. If it suits you then go for it.
Good luck

Thanks alot everyone for all your advice its helped me so much.
I've now realised that I am not a bad person for wanting more children, its our life and we should live it how we want not how other people want us to!
Thanks again jo xxx
Aww Jo, your not a bad person for wanting to bring a new life into this world! As long as you love your baby then no-one can say anything bad, you clearly love your little girl so I say go for it.
I want to wait until Nate is 2 before having another baby, for me it seems to be the perfect time. My sister and I have a 3 year age gap and we are both very close and I hope that Nate will have the same kind of bond with his little sis or bro.
😀
😘
Hey Jo, My Baby is only 6months and I'm already wanting another one I'm just waiting for him to get to about the age of 2 before I start trying,
By then at least he wernt need as much attention.
But I think you should do what is right for you, every family is different and it's whats best for you and your family, nobody will judge you.
Me and my DH tried for number 2 when Charlotte was 8 months, it did take us 11 months to fall on so by the time we conceived and I had given birth, Charlotte was over 2.
It is personal choice, you shouldn't worry about what other people think. As long as you are ready is then that's fine x
Hmmm- I have 5-good thing I don't listen to anyone-heehee
My oldest is 16 1/2, then 15 (those 2 are 17 months apart). Then I had a 5 year break, so I have a 10 year old, then an 8 year old (21 months between them), then a seven year break and now I have a 10 month old. Would love to have another but hubby is having a bit of a strike right now-teehee.
Having them together in pairs is amazing. Yes the first year or two are very hard-two in nappies, two with bottles...but it makes up for it cause they always have a friend and play buddy and entertain each other leaving you freer to do things around the house.
Highly recommended!
Thanks all of you for reading and giving your advice, its helped greatly! 😀
think we are just guna leave it to see what happens, i believe if it happens its meant to be! 😀
Hopefully it will though because i want another baby so much lol! 😉
thanks all love jodie xxx
