I would to love to help you with this. But I have loads of moments with my daughter but the many one that comes to mind that seems to back everyone think how sweet but embarrissing is:
When my daughter was almost 3 years old I took her and her 3 month old baby brother to a baby and toddler. While we were there baby needed feeding. I was breast-feeding him and because I was sat feeding my princess came over and sat with me talkig away as if she was a grown up with her doll she was playing with and the next minute I know she say's "Ooh my baby needs feeding. Excuss me while I feed my baby." Well up goes the top and she sits there mimicking me feeding her baby brother. I stopped feeding and spoke to my daughter and got her to put her top down and told her "Doll babies have bottles as they don't like being breast-feed." I was then told by other parents and workers that I should be proud of her doing that is she must be comfortable with the idea of breast-feeding otherwise she wouldn'thave done what she sees as a normal feeding habit for a baby. When we got home I sat down and told her that her "Your baby dolls like being breastfeed but other baby dolls don't so when we are at home you can feed your dolls how you want to but when we go out you have to give dolls there bottles. Is this OK with you?" She replied "But mummy really baby likes your booby when we are out too so I can't my baby have my booby when we are out it is perfectly normal? We then had a talk about how people could feel about seeing her do this and that they could say that mummy and daddy are bad for letting you see this happen but that it is normal for some babies to have their mummies milk. It's nearly 2 years since this happened and she still is adoment that her baby dolls have her milk and they will say when they don't want mummies milk anymore just like her baby brother did. 😊
