Sky+ help please

Yesterday the dog chewed up our Sky+ remote so it's now useless. We are still able to change the channel from the sky box and can also set things to record from it but can not actually get into the section (usually accessed from the green button) to watch the stuff we have recorded. Does anyone know how to do it from the box? I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to go and buy a new remote.
