My little sis has had her baby

Baby Dexter was born at 03.48 this morning weighing 7lbs 2oz.

I got a phonecall yesterday morning from my mum saying that she had started at 6am. Hospital sent her home and her contractions faded. Mum was texting me all day as was worried she wouldn't see the signs for advanced labour. My sisters boyfriend was in Plymouth 😲 working, so we rang him to get his backside home.

At 8pm last night i told mum to get my sister a bath as she was in pain, looked really ill and was knackered and told her to get some sleep - but then her contractions came thick and fast again. Hospital eventually let her go for another check at 11pm.

All is well and considering she always measured 4-5 weeks smaller than her dates he's a good healthy weight and he's gorgeous.

Marks working away in Wales, so i cannot wait for him to wake up so i can ring and tell him.

My family are really sparse for boys, and then they get two in under 4 weeks 😉

Oooh and baby Dexter has been born on his daddies birthday too! 😀

I'm so excited and cannot wait to see him!
