Diary or Blogs?
When I was a child I used to have a diary where I wrote down my memoirs. I don't write on it anymore and I sometimes get surprised when I read it. I don't have a blog and I don't know if I would. Did you have any diaries?
I had various diaries and still keep one - but handwriting is painful and often illegible and slow - so I quite often vent in blogs
I used to write diaries, then all paper in the house became a scribbling ground
I went through diary phases, which often involved whichever lad I fancied at the time. I'd sometimes keep track of what I was doing if it were a school holiday or something; and write about where I'd been with friends. Then there were the time when I kept diaries on the advice of doctor, counsellor, etc for my depression, anxiety and moods. Eve diaries of my dreams I had to keep at one point. But it was sometimes abit false and forced because to me you should write because you feel you want to, not because you're under pressure to do it-abit like art!!
I have used diaries for the past 3 years as general ramblings. I used to have my own website where I had a 'ramble' page which was my thoughts on the day, week, etc. I now have a Blog and I use Twitter too.
Personally I'm still keeping a written diary but for both the girls I have kept a 'Pregnancy Diary' which was how I felt every day thoughtout my pregnancies, my worries, happy moments, etc and I maintained it for the first year with Jasmine and plan to do so with Sophie too. A nice momento (and surprising read at times) of my pregnancies 🙂
Many of you still have diaries and some have blogs. Do you write exactly the same way you write/wrote in your diaries. Generally we don't like people reading the diary content, do you feel the same with the blog?
