When home alone
What do you do when you happen to be at home with no kids, no dh, nobody else??
Watch programmes I like, uninterrupted.
Snack.
Potter.
Nip out and do stuff that is hassel when they are in tow.
Read book or flick through magazine.
General stuff, but stuff that I can't really enjoy when they are here because it's too crazy ð
i make the most of it and do some housework, like hell!!!
It has been a very long time since I have been home alone, normally I use it as a chance to clean up, or its because Franks annoyed so I'm sent to Coventry.
I have too much time on my hands at the moment- but I usually start with any housework that I can find and then depending on the weather either go out for a walk somewhere or catch up on soaps/tv that I recorded to watch when the kids are at school. Hopefully in 4 weeks I'll have my hands full with the little one, dreading the easter hols as DS and DD are away with their Nan for the whole 2 weeks and I'll have even less to do ðĒ
I know I should be taking it easy but I find it hard to relax!!
ð
I do like you do. I sometimes have a me time or I clean like a freak! ð
It's hard to not do anything isn't it?!! ðĪŠ
It's not really happened since Sophie was born as when Mike takes her out for a walk, I'm usually working (trying to build biz up).
Before though, I used to like to watch all the things I taped from Sky that Mike doesn't like (Project Catwalk, Fringe, etc) and another favourite is putting the stereo on so loud the furniture shakes and howling to my favourite bands ð ð
Exactly WelshMum! ðē
I catch up on programmes Mark doesn't likeand also sit on the net for hours!! ð
have a lazy day in pj's eating rubbish or go in to town to window shop and then end up spending too much ð
