What do you call it?
Now I am getting a bit ahead of the game but since we found out that we are having a girl we have been wondering what to call her lady bits when she is little. It seems easier if you have a boy with Willy or Winkie being pretty universal (I might be wrong on that though) but when it comes to the Vagina there is no obvious choice that we can think off.
So, whilst we have a chance to think about it, what would you advise or what do you call it for your little ones?
Our little girl calls hers 'bits' and our boy's is 'winky'.
we call casey's, 'bits' or 'tuppence' and haydens 'tiddler' tho casey calls it a 'jingle' (or something like that)
We've always gone for 'bits' too. I agree with you though, a boy is easy but other names for girlie bits are, well, just too rude really 😊
George calls his his manny and ladies have flowwers. 🤔
Charlotte calls her bits her 'front bum'.
George has 'bits' or a 'widgey'.
Yep it's bits here too . I know people who call it a 'Floo' or a 'Mary' though. It was a Mary when i was growing up and i used to say it to step dd until i realised both her Nana and Grandma are called Mary 😊 . 🤔
Boys bits were always Wilberts, but good point as might have to think what to tell bump as he gets older.
The worst i ever heard was when i took dd to the toilet in a supermarket and the lady in the next cubicle told her daughter to wipe her 'FIFI Flower Purse!!!!' 😲 What on earth...i rolled around on the floor for days telling people that one! lol
Flower is very common in my nursery.
Personally I don't like foo!!
ITS A PICKLE!!!!!!!!!! lol
Fifi flower purse 😐 🙃 Weird
I used to call it a tuppy when I was younger. My sil calls it a floo.
Thanks for all your replies. Glad I am not the only one who thinks it is a difficult one. I used to call it my front bottom when I was little but I remember being confused by this description as I got older.
I like tuppy (or tuppence) and my husband always goes for lady bits (so to speak) so I think I will wait and see what occurs.
Fifi Flower Purse sounds like she should be friends with Strawberry Shortcake! Hee hee. 😀

I haven't had to deal with that one yet, although Gem is 5 years old she has been having speech therapy since she was 16 months old and I never tackled that word with her! Don't know if her Nan (her dad's mum) has a name for it, but I don't think so as Gem has never talked about it. Usually, any new word or name is used often- unless she asks me what it is I'll leave it for now... not calling it a 'Fifi flower purse' tho lol!! 'Front bottom' could be a possibility, will have to think about this!
Lou x
well here we call Lolly's a 'mini' or 'bits' and Jake is 'winky or 'willy'. I also think it is harder to know what to call a girls bits, we didn't even really think about it with Jake. My friends little girl calls hers fufu. I think just use what you are comfortable saying.
Oh my. I am visiting my Mum and Brother at the moment and he has decided that we should call it a chainsaw!!! 😲
This apparently will put off boys for as long as possible.
How much therapy would she need if we went for that I wonder? 😀
it was always a tuppence when i was little
Good question. My boy has used so many names for his; however, I have never heard my daugther giving a name to hers.. she just smiles every time she tries to say something about 'it'. 🙂
alisa calls her a mumfy as it is africans for it and sounds alot better in england as no-one knows what you are talking about
