i gave him back the ring he gave me as he has hurt me sp much i cant stop crying.

we not split up i just want him to understand he cant make me feel oike a bad mum ad thinks il be ok bout it.

😘

I hope this works out the way your want it too.

I think the only thing i can suggest is to sit him down and explain calmly the effects of him undermining you as a parent. Not only is it clearly hurtful to you, but as children grow up they see it and it does effect their behaviour. I hope everything works out. Just tell him how you feel, and if you have to tell him over and over to get it through then do that. Thinking of you xXx

Hi hunni 😘
Relationships are difficult and have to be worked at a hell of a lot sometimes. It takes understanding on both sides and undermining each other in front of other people is not really on, especially if there are also children involved.

I think you both need to sit down and talk about what you expect as parents.

Hope it works out for you sweetie

Does he have a very close relationship with his mom?..and is she critical of his parenting skills at all...the odd "Really Ray, she does'nt need those things on"....could have been something along those lines, do you see what I mean?...some people have that added pressure to do what makes them look to be more in control over a situation when parents are present...I hope this makes sense, I don't think giving his ring back was a wise move, that could seriously have backfired...do you see what I mean by that?...If it's his mom being the problem in all this, then he needs to tell her to butt out when your kiddie is concerned...he might not even have thought it was a big deal, you know?...I really hope you guys get this sorted out, have a talk to him and try and get him to give his point of view as well as present your own. Keep us posted. And for heavens sake - get that ring back on that finger! 😀

Am so pleased you managed to sort it out. Just make sure you keep talking about what you expect of each other as parents and be supportive about it too.

I was just throwing out a scenario, trying to get a better picture of the situation. Glad you are sorted, and yeah, as a 2.5 year depression sufferer myself, I know how hard it is to try and explain it...unless people go through it, I am not sure you can explain it, it's different for everyone. 🙂

i agree ali make sure you do talk to each other or things do build up and then explode. x

I am glad you found a way to work things out and got your ring back too. 😀
Did his google homework pay off with the information you wanted him to find?
