Lotsa ice here this morning!

I'm sitting at home waiting to here back from Mike whether he's going to be making it over here to watch Aaralyn for me today. We've had freezing rain and sleet all night and it's a frozen mess out there right now. I'm feeling kind of guilty for not being at work yet because I live so close and I'm hoping they will understand that I'm depending on some one else to get here who lives about 15-20 minutes away 😊 😕

Aww, hope he can get here ok hun. Today is the 1st nice day we have had for ages (rest of week is meant to be pants too 🙁 ) But today is almost like spring. We have blue skies and sun. . yep SUN. I had almost forgotten what that was!! I'm sure work will understand your predicament hun. Fingers crosed Mike will be there soon for you! 😘 Don't get too cold hun. Oh and i am sitting here fancying some salami so if you have any at work could you send some my way please. lol. . honestly the cravings i am getting recently - weird! lol

It's not looking good for Mike getting here at this point... he's got a sand truck parked in front of his drive way that appears to be broken down... not good!

Oh dear hun, that doesn't sound good. Have you phoned work? Hope they are ok with it! Is Aaralyn not at school today then? Have my fingers crossed for you the truck moves soon - honestly, typical it is infront of mikes drive eh!

oh no, I am sure work will understand, they know that school is out due to ice and you have to have someone to babysit for ya. I hope mike gets there soon. Crazy thing about the sand truck, seems thats the way things go though 😕

Mike still hasn't made it out of his neighborhood although he can by now.... the deli closed before lunch time so no worries there... phew, i was a little concerned but my boss seemed to be cool about my not being there this morning.

Now they've closed schools tomorrow too because they had to cancel the teacher's meetings for today and now will have them tomorrow.... got my sitter lined up already!! Mike's niece is going to watch her since she'll be out of school tomorrow too!!

omg hun. its all happening there. blooming cold here but luckily no frost this morning. hope its better tomorrow

Thanks Stacey! It's supposed to warm up here into the 40's but it's not happening yet.... then it will all melt and then refreeze tonight but it's supposed to be above freezing by morning....
