my 7 month old waking up to 7 times in the night

hi i have a seven and a half month old and he keeps waking up to 7 times during the whole night. I have spoke to my health visitor but got different reasons, one reckons its teething one reckons it could be the fact of his dummy falling out and he needs it but i have tried puting him to bed without his dummy but he keeps waking up at night tried this method for a week. He has had no problems in the past its only been the past 3 weeks.Any ideas or advice would be welcomed.Please Help

Hiya my little girl kept doing that and I kept going into her every time she cried out. This is hard to do but it worked for us. We went into check that she was ok dummy still in mouth, she hadn't done a poo, wasn't too hot/cold etc and then went back to bed, we then left her for 5 mins, then went back into her dummy back in then went back to bed and done this every 5 mins, it then very quickly died a death and she doesn't do it any more. She does if she has a cold now but thats due to her not being able to breath properly like us when we have a cold.

I'm not saying you must do this its, just a suggestion. Someone else might have a better suggestion than me.
