I am so worried and in tears

I had to take Champ to the vet this morning he had snagged his back toenail on something...also while we there they went ahead and gave him his year vacs [he was due in Feb.] Well we start walking out to the check out desk and he was kinda stumbling and then he just falls over! 😲

The vet gave him some steriods incase of an allergic reaction, and he isn't getting any better! I am really upset....they are calling an internal medicine vet and I am here waiting..... 😢

Oh no hun!! I hope everything is ok, please update us as soon as you can!! 😘 😘 😘 got everything crossed here for hopes that he is ok!!

Oh no, that must have been awful for you hun 🙁 , I really hope Champ is ok and makes a full recovery, have all my fingers crossed hun. Poor thing, like tammy says hun, give us an update soon as you can. 😘 😘 😘

Well after some fluids and steriods, blood work and everything else! Champ is back home! 😀

The vet thought his liver was messed up from the meds...but the bloodwork came back ok. They said it was a really bad reaction to his vacs...from now on he has to take them one at a time and a week apart. And also they had to cut off his toenail, and he is on some anti-b's.

He is laying down at my feet, pretty quiet today...guess it was a lot for him. He was so happy to see me when I came. He has a little blue bandage on him and they had to shave his leg to take blood 😍

Aww hun, I am so pleased he is ok 😀 . I was thinking about you. I was really hoping you wouldn't come back with bad news. Poor thing, it must have been really scary. I bet poor Champ didn't know what had hit him either, poor thing. No wonder he is a bit quiet today. Still lucky they caught it when they did! Give him a big hug for me hun Xx

I'm happy that he is ok, I hope the next time he goes to the vets he has a better experience.

Oh thank goodness, like Mandy I was soooo hoping you wouldn't be coming back with bad news... I'm glad he's ok, Cory (my dog) had a bad reaction to anestesia when she was a puppy so I can almost imagine what you were going through. Hope his "finger" heals quickly too!
