Feeling very down

Hi everyone. Hubby and I went to see our gyno doc last week as at our last visit he gave me Tamoxafen (after no pregnancy using Clomid). I used it for 1 month, but I am a type 1 diabetic (insulin controlled) and the drug made my sugars completely bonkers, so we knocked that on the head straight away. So at last weeks apptmt he referred us to the CARE fertility clinic in Nottingham for IUI. Not sure how long it takes for an apptmt to come through ..... does anyone else know?
I am becoming increasingly disheartened every month (I know I'm not alone there eh ladies?!). It's been 3 years since we started trying for our baby, I'll be 37 in March. We have our little boy, and I know I'm very very lucky in that respect 😀 (not hubby's biological), but there doesn't seem to be any obvious reason why it's not happening for us. I had two early miscarriages in 2007 (May and August), before starting any treatment.
My cycles are 28-30 days, although last month it was 26 days - I think that was because I was ill, and my son was in hospital over the Christmas period with a chest infection, so I was somewhat stressed.
I'm trying to stay relaxed about the whole baby thing, but it's becoming increasingly difficult.
On a slightly comical note, my little boy was tidying his toy room the other week (much to my surprise) and when he saw me looking at him, he said 'I'm tidying my toys mummy .... for my little sister'. Well, what can you say to that?!! I just said 'that's very nice of you sweetie' and let him carry on. 🙂

Aww hun, I am really sorry to hear that things aren't going as you had planned. It must be very difficult wanting a baby so much and having trouble conceiving. Who know's maybe your son is right hun and in the near future you will find yourself expecting his little sister? I have my fingers crossed you get an appointment for the IUI through very soon hun and that the treatment works for you. Good luck hun! 😘 Xx
