Easter Egg Hunt

I did an easter egg hunt with my children and my mindee today and it was great fun. I had to get all the children to hide up in one of the bedrooms that didnt overlook the garden so they couldnt see where I was hiding the eggs.

I had them scattered all round the house then sent each child in age order (starting with youngest) to find 7 eggs and when they did they had to return back to the bedroom for the next turn.

When all eggs had been found I then hid 4 bags of little mini eggs round the house and they had to find those too. They are now all proudly showing off their eggs and buckets to everybody ... some even seem to have disappeared into little mouths! 😀

Are you all doing hunts with your children?? Or do you have anything else planned?

we dont really celebrate easter but i am thinking of doing an easter egg hunt over the weekend as it is going to be glorious weather

well we dont really do easter and as i am working i cant do much anyway hoping to go out on monday
but all my children apart from the baby is away so it will be really quiet anyway

We're going to an Easter egg hunt on Sunday in the park. I've never been to one before so it's quite exciting!!

I'm taking my children to another one tomorrow and may well go to another one on Sunday. I love doing this sort of thing with the kids and watching their faces as they are searching for them.
