Forgot to post my good news!
I have been chatting away and i forgot to post my news. Well yesterday our architect popped over with our plans for the extension and the planning permission we need to go ahead with the extension! Woohoo 😀 We just need to submit building reg plans now so they can agree to the materials being used and the depth of the walls etc. Unfortunately the architect forgot to tell us we would have to pay £160 to submit them. So we now have to find that on top of the £400 it will cost us to get the drawings done to submit. This is on top of the £440 we have already paid for the original plans that were submitted for planning. 😉 Still, the builder popped over tonight after we had rung him to tell him we had planning, and he has agreed he should be able to start work at the end of the month! 😀 😀 😀 I am so excited, we reeeeeaaaaaly need the extra room it will give us!

Aww thanks guys. I am soooo excited (and a little stressed about the mess their will be!) we really struggle with space here and i don't even have anywhere to put my ironing board or hoover. Or anywhere to keep towels etc as no airing cupboard. Infact there is no built in storage at all. We only have 2bedrooms too and the lounge is tiny so we can't even have a table out to sit and eat at, at the moment. It will be so nice to be able to sit at the table to eat our meals. Have the hoover/ironging board away and an extra bedroom (which will be Jakes) so we can finally get our room back for ourselves!!! 😀 Xx

Well we live in a bungalow so we are basically putting an extra 'box' on the back of it which is around 3/4 the length of the original structure. We are knocking the wall to the lounge down so it will be twice the width it is at the moment this will then be a lounge diner. I am adding a big storage cupboard that you will get acces to from the dining part and an extra bedroom for Jake. Which will have a double built in wardrobe in it. It is a fairly small room (could be much smaller though) so will save having to buy free standing furniture to fit in it. The patio doors are being re-used and added to the end of the extension for access into the garden (what's left!) haha. In total it will make the width of the lounge diner 5meters! I won't know what to do with myself i will have so much space! 😀 haha Xx
