The last few weeks... while I was not here...
.... things kept getting better!! I'm loving my job, although it is pretty physical compared to sitting on my ass all day like I did at the travel agency! I'm exausted by evening time and ready for bed when Aaralyn goes to bed!
Christmas was so wonderful, thanks to my loved ones and a Santa, who's spirit came in many forms this year! 😀 We were invited to go to Mike's family's for Christmas but this year we stayed home and I cooked a turkey and stuff and Ren and Azure came over for dinner... we all had a really nice time. Mike came by earlier in the day for a while and played Santa as well, then he and Amber came over the day after too.
Things are good with Mikey and I, still friends only but it's a nice, comforting friendship and I'm ok with that, although I still and I think always will love that man!
We had a nice New Year's eve and day. I had a fun night in with Aaralyn and Azure and Ren got to go out with her new man who so far seems to be a really great guy (ironically an old high school friend of her's reconnected through facebook). She's really really happy!! and I'm really happy for her and Azure!
New Year's day they all, Ren, Azure and her boyfriend Larry, came over and brought dinner and Larry cooked it! 😀 Once again, it was a great day.
Other than that, I've just been working and being mommy and it feels good doing both, I just wish there was a little more time in the day!

Well sounds like you had a ball hun. It is lovely to think that even though you and Mikey aren't together as a couple anymore you are still friends and spend time together. Lovely for the girls too, as Aaralyn and Amber were close. A lovely offer from his family to spend christmas day with them too! Looking forward to watching the Vid, will get around to it in a bit! I'm glad things can be this way with Mike and I too!! I was actually talking to Amber on the phone earlier and we've made a plan for us girls to go see the movie Bedtime Stories on Tuesday!
