my xmas n new year

well spose ill start on xmas day. we had a lovely morning, casey was thrilled she loved all the prezzies. we headed to my mams hayden loved his dinner lol. but then my uncle called worried about their friend, he then rang to say hed found that hed died in his bedroom (this is ken, the husband of my mams friend that died earlier in the year)
we tried tried to carry on and have haydens bday at lees mams.
boxing day was ok, we spent the day at lees parents n had our second xmas with ben.
all was well until 29th when our friend was killed in a car accident. he was driving home from work, they think hes fallen asleep at the wheel and hes crashed in to a tree. he worked with lee, they were all very close in the shop and have all taken it very hard, lees tryin to be strong. it was kens funeral yesterday and is michaels 2moro.
also my fone and internet has been off since new years day till today.

in the middle of this we did get some good news my friend had her baby on new years eve. yey! she was 7lbs 11oz called olivia mae.

funeral went well, was a fab turn out he had a great send off. they played mustang sally when they brought him in (he called his car sally) then when they took him out they played the top gear theme tune.

all doin well, dont think its sunk in for me yet, but ill get there.

😘 's hun... I think it's nice when a funeral service can be a celebration of one's life instead of just mourning the loss... as much as the mourning is needed too.

I hope you get through all of this ok, it's even sadder at this time of year.
